Pooch Positive Training Our Mission.....
To reduce the number of dogs surrendered to animal shelters due to behavior problems She is a member of the Greater St. Louis Community College.

Head trainer, Michelle Charboneau, has a BA in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri. She has been training dogs since 2009 when she began volunteering at a local animal shelter. While working at the shelter she became frustrated when dogs adopted out as adorable puppies, were subsequently returned as out of control adults for “bad” behavior, which was

typically nothing more than lack of training. In 2010, Michelle completed the Assistant Trainers course offered by the Greater St. Louis Training Club, and learned that positive reinforcement dog training is really about enhancing communication between pets and their people, rather than “obedience.”

In 2013, Michelle completed the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Program. Louis Training Club, the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild. In 2014, Michelle earned her Animal Welfare Certificate through the St. She is currently pursuing her CPDT-KA certification. She lives with her three rescue pups, Ava, Lily and Oreo.
