This Friday, October 3rd, we’ll be planting 14 new trees on our property with the Chicago Region Tree Initiative (CRTI) by the Morton Arboretum — and we still need more helping hands! 🌳

🐢 It’s Hatchling Season!
Baby turtles are beginning to emerge from their nests and making their way toward water.
✨ If you see one on the road or sidewalk:
• Let it continue in the same direction it’s heading
• Only help if it’s in immediate danger (cars, heavy foot traffic)
• Move gently and close to the ground to avoid injuring it
• Never take hatchlings home — they need to reach natural water sources
💚 Every little turtle that makes it safely helps keep future generations alive.
