At last week's meeting of the working group of the coalition at Purina we had a presenentation by the Greater St. Louis Community Foundation that helps wealthy donors direct their philanthropic gifts. We learned about Giving Link and its database of charities to help donors find organizations to match their interests.

The Society for Animal Welfare leadership conference begins this coming Sunday, I will be attending and looking for ideas to strengthen our community- better metrics and programs/collaborations to increase spay/neuter, reduce euthanasia of adoptable pets, increase adoptions regionally. Many excellent presenters nationwide with their ideas to share.
