We didn’t forget about the shy dogs. We see you, even though you wish we didn’t.

Calling all “once feral” dogs, breeder/puppy mill dogs, and those who just haven’t found themselves yet.

“My dog hides, prefers to go under tables, retreats to their crate or hides behind me. They aren’t aggressive in any way but they wish no one knew they existed besides the people they know and love. I feel so terrible all the time because I don’t know how to help my dog. When we walk on the leash, he/she is terrified of everything so we hardly go. My dog seems to enjoy other dogs but they are easily targeted due to their lack of confidence. Sometimes I wonder what happened to them before me and feel so terrible that their personality is only able to be observed by me. It breaks my heart.”

This class is for you. Let’s learn how to help your dog grow into a more confident, attention-seeking canine. With our direction and your implementation of our strategies, you’ll start making strides in the direction you’ve always hoped would be possible.

Where: Cheap Tricks Training Facility, 932 Meramec Station Road, Units C and D, Valley Park, MO

Who: You and your shy dog (please no dogs who are scared AND aggressive in this class). There is another class for you coming soon.

When: 4 consecutive Mondays at 530pm beginning February 10th. You’ll be implementing different strategies at home after being delivered the necessary direction needed to get new results. Each class we will discuss your progress and provide the next steps for success!

Time: 5:30pm

Why? Because without the proper assistance from you and our help, you’ll be living this life with your dog for a lot longer than you have to.

New classes forming with a few openings left below! We pride ourselves on being affordable, results driven and encourage positive reinforcement only. No need to implement consequences when creating a clear and consistent communication pattern.

Training should be fun, inexpensive, rewarding, and a bonding experience. We want you to enjoy teaching your dog and improving your relationship as much as we enjoy watching it and helping you become the leader of the pack.

Puppy school new sessions below consist of 7 hour long classes that meet the same time each week and same day. Below are start dates for each session. This is for puppies only.

Sessions begins Monday, February 3rd at noon
Session begins Wednesday, January 29th at 630pm
Session begins Saturday, February 15th at 9am
Session begins Sunday, February 16th at 530pm (this is a full class)

Adult dog basic obedience (dogs over the age of 16 months). Each start date below begins a session 6 one hour classes that meet each week same time and same day.

Session begins Monday, February 3rd at 130pm
Session begins Wednesday, January 29th at 8pm (tonight)
Session begins Sunday, February 16th at 7pm

Intermediate obedience (must have completed basic obedience first). Each start date below consists of 6 one hour classes that meet each week same time and same day.

Advanced obedience (must have completed basic and intermediate first) 6 one hour classes that meet the same time and same day each week.

Session begins Monday, February 3rd at 7pm

Shy dog classes (4 one hour classes focused on building confidence, learning to trust, and problem solving.

Good morning from some of the next future Cheap Tricks pups. All of them have owners who have recently signed them up for school and to say we are excited to work with them and make their lives better would be an understatement! WE CANT WAIT!!

From puppies to adults, it is never too late to teach your dog what you expect and reverse whatever you’ve allowed. Dogs are simple minded and we tend to overcomplicate the assignment by speaking too much when giving it. There is no greater gift to a dog than an owner who is clear and consistent. What are you waiting for? Your dog doesn’t love to feel your frustration when they work so hard to please you all day, even when they are making the wrong decisions.

Another intermediate class starts tomorrow night at 530pm! If your dog has the basics down, this class is for you and your dog. The details are below!

When✅ Tomorrow beginning at 530pm for one hour to continue for the next 6 weeks

Cost ✅ $180 for 6 one hour classes

What can I expect to learn with my dog✅ Concrete those basics and take it to the next level learning commands like “down and sit from a distance”, ”place with distractions and added distance”, “stay”, ”heel”, some trick training, and more!

Tomorrow nights “Help, my dog gets so excited to see people” class is almost full. Just a few remaining spots left for those of you who have dogs and they jump all over you, your guests, family members and friends.

One of the most common complaints from clients is how to control the exuberance of their pups when in the presence of triggers. Without practice, your dogs behavior is reinforced each time someone attempts to say “hello”.

Don’t apologize anymore for your dogs behavior. Let’s just fix it! Learn what to do, practice with the strangers in class and relax with your more relaxed dog. Your dog can do this and it starts with you!
