This week, we are not spotlighting just one dog but a whole shelter.

Five Acres Animal Shelter is a local shelter here in St. Charles County that runs strictly on donations, events and grants and is a 501c3 non profit. They are extremely beneficial here in this area as they recently took over the St. Charles City Animal Shelter. They are always looking for volunteers, fosters, donations and of course loving families for their animals. They do have cats as well for those who enjoy a good feline friend.

Saturdays are to put a local rescue or shelter pup in the spotlight!

Today we meet Samson. A sweet boy that is currently with Missouri K9 Friends. When I reached out and asked for a pup to highlight this is the response received,

"...Samson!! Found in a ditch, emaciated, during the deep freeze. We have been bringing him back to health and he's doing much better now. He still has some medical issues we are dealing with, but he's ready for his furever home. We are looking for a "Foster to Adopt" home, a home that will love him and care for him as we continue his medical care until he's as healthy as he can be...He's a super sweet boy, about 7 years old"

The pictures do show a feeding tube but great news is that he is completely off of the tube!
