I would like to say thank you to Hazelwood East and the Hazelwood School District for giving me a spotlight in this newsletter.

This year I am a Junior in high school and this is my first year at Hazelwood East. With everything happening because of COVID 19 and already having a strong relationship with the teachers, staff, and students at my old school, moving and going to a new school halfway through high school was the last thing I wanted to do. Coming to Hazelwood has been an amazing experience for me. All of my new teachers are amazing and I’ve even started to make a few new friends. I look forward to everything that the Hazelwood School District and Hazelwood East has to offer and I also look forward to growing my career as an entrepreneur.

Thank you Hazelwood East for welcoming me to the family with open arms.

As the Founder and CEO of Cavy Pads +, I would like to thank for featuring Cavy Pads + in an article about the student entrepreneurs and the Nfte program in the St. Louis region.
I would also like to thank , my teacher Mr. Marc Reid, and for helping spark, mold, and grow my love, passion, and interest in entrepreneurship. Without you, I would not be where I am today and I definitely would not have not 1 but 2 businesses to call my own.

Lastly, I would like to send an extra-special thank you to my mother, grandmother, family, friends, and mentors for always believing in me and never giving up on me even in the times when I wanted to give up most. I know I can always count on you and I am forever grateful to have you all as apart of my life and journey in entrepreneurship.

Over the last few days, Cavy Pads competed in the National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. Cavy Pads successfully made it to the semifinals. Although we did not make it to the final round Cavy Pads is still very grateful to have had the opportunity to share our story on such a great platform.
