Hi, I’m Megan, owner of Char & Bean! A little about me, I have 2 dogs of my own, Charlie (6yr American Staffordshire Terrier) & Beans (2yr Chihuahua mix), they are my little rescued babies. The cutest inspiration for the business name!
I have worked professionally with all kinds of pets since 2015, at one of St. Louis’ top rated pet facilities until autumn of 2022. I gained experience working as a groom tech (doing baths, nails, deshed treatments & more), and as a boarding attendant, giving countless dogs personalized attention, with specific diets and meds. I was promoted into management for over my last year there. I learned extensively about dog behavior, handling, care, and safety. I absolutely loved my job, but chose to leave for more flexibility in my schedule. Since then, I have worked on Wag! and Rover (dog walking/pet sitting apps).
I understand your pets safety and care is your top priority and I absolutely am with you & will make sure they are safe and happy in my care. I promise to love them as if they are my own for any duration that I am with them!
I have always done pet sitting for different families, but only recently am I putting a name to my business! Please bear with me while I navigate all the ins and outs of this! (A website is soon to come as well)

Dog walks 🦮- 15, 30, 60 minutes, you name it, I’ll walk your dog! All location tracked.
Dog runs🏃♂️- for those who’s pets would like a faster pace, we do run.
Drop-in visit 🏡- I’ll stop by for at least 30 minutes and check on your pet, let them outside, update you on how they are, play with them, give cuddles, belly rubs, whatever they like.
Overnight pet sitting 🌙- I’ll stay in your home taking care of everything for your pets and home. Food, water, meds, walks, playtimes, cuddles, belly rubs, all the love! Collect mail, trash to curb, water plants, clean after pets, & giving you daily updates!
Bath & brush 🛁- in your tub at home or take them to treats unleashed and use their tubs!
Nail trim & file 💅- keep your pets nails healthy and trimmed!
Pet taxi 🚕- like Uber, but for your pet! I can pick them up and take them wherever you need, the vet, a bath, your brothers? For vet visits, I’d record the visit so you know exactly what your vet says about your pet!
Play dates with Char & Bean 🐕- A little doggy socialization time! Feel free to ask to meet my pups, or we can schedule a visit with you, your pet, and both (or just one) of my pups! — I don’t take my pets to dog parks because you can’t guarantee what personalities you’ll come across. Charlie and Bean get along great with others and LOVE to make new friends 💕🐶

*** Every service includes pictures and updates on your pets
*** I will NEVER feed your dog treats or food without your approval or request. I understand dogs have food allergies and some tummies are sensitive to certain things. If you want me to give treats, please be specific of any known sensitivities or favorites of your pets 🥰
*** I will never bring your pet around other animals unless you specify. I understand sometimes our pets are reactive to others, especially on leash. And you never know how the other dog is, even if yours is fine. Your pets safety and well-being are very important to me.
