Today my dog Diesel ate the adsorbent pad under chicken breast you buy from the store. We took her to the emergency vet immediately. On the way there we checked reviews and decided to change course to a new one because our first choice had us worried. This emergency vet was the best I have ever been to. They were extremely fast, considerate and informative. I highly recommend them if you're in the area and in need.

Enjoy your holiday and stay safe.

I will be available tomorrow morning extremely early for a search if someone's dog goes missing due to the fireworks. I am only searching if the odds are in our favor.

I know we have not been active on the page and bad at replying to messages. I just want to be honest-

Drones are not an effective tool in the summer. With leaves on trees we cannot see the ground to search effectively majority of the time. We have stopped taking searches for awhile now because I believe it is wrong to take someone's money knowing that we can't even see the ground.

We also have normal jobs and in the summer are doing 11-14hr days. Winter time we slow down and leaves fall off trees making this a better tool.

This is not a business for us. Yes we charge to maintain our equipment and buy dinner on the way home not make a living.

During warmer months of the year I work a lot more hours. This really limits my availability which I'm sure some of you know when I refer you to another drone pilot named Colin Gornicz

So as of today Colin is now an admin of the page and will be the primary pilot that helps the community out. I have worked with him a bunch over the last few months and he does great work.

Side note - air tags are not a good tracker for your dog.

Henry’s Happy Tails LLC wanted to pay it forward in remembrance to their dog Copper whose life was cut short by paying for our next search.

With the winds being crazy the last few days we have not been able to fly pushing our searches back a few days. Luckily in them days we had a spotting so had a good area to start

The owner had been putting food and clothing out in the area. While refreshing the food he spots his dog. Just as I'm pulling up.

Drone goes up and after multiple attempts over multiple hours we decided a trap will be our best chance. After watching the dog for awhile we determined where it was hanging out and felt safe. So we now know where to put the traps.

The owner is putting a trap up now and we are going to hope for the best. 🤞 We will keep updates about the search coming.

Thank you Henrys Happy Tails LLC for helping your community out ❤️

If anyone has another medium sized trap available we would like to put another out if no luck by tomorrow evening.

A success story is rare in this business but this is why we continue to do it after so many hopeless searches. (Most people call after their pet is missing a week or more) This call was after 1 hr of being lost.

Erin was in a car accident with her 3 dogs. Two got out and ran opposite directions across highway 61. The other unfortunately didn't make it after getting to the vet. Very sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is never easy.

By the time we got there one dog was already caught because the community of Troy came together and started a search party. When I showed up I believe there were over 50 people searching for the dogs.

Rouge was still not seen since the accident. After 6 hrs of flying I think I see her. But my spotlight is broken and I am unable to confirm 😢 I call Erin and explain this. Her husband and her are on their way. While waiting a local farmer stops and explains he knows everyone around the quarry and gets permission for us to search. I call another drone operator (Colin I'll tag him in the comments I can't with the business page.) for backup because I'm running out of battery life.

The on foot team (Erin, her husband, and the farmer) gets to work while we both fly our drones in the air searching. 5 batteries over and around the quarry we never get eyes on her again and feel hopeless when a text comes in saying we have her. 😁😁😁😁

This dog was her 5 year old daughters dog and after playing her on the loud speaker calling for her. Rouge came out of hiding.

More videos in the comments.
So happy she is home safe. This is why we do this.

Also thank you for my amazing wife who sat in the car for 7hrs with our 5 month old daughter and took care of her. You are amazing.

Another interesting business use of a drone!

Missouri Pet Drone Recovery was so great to work with and so responsive! A beloved cat went missing in late January from a friend’s home and we thought he might be in a wooded area/farm behind their home. Over 100 acres. They came out at dawn and checked everything twice and expanded into the common ground and the subdivision. Found lots of rabbits, cats and dogs. Just not the one we were looking for. The drone is so great! Finds and plots heat images. They can zoom in and look at what is there and follow it say it’s under a log or in a tire. I would suggest contacting them immediately when a pet goes missing. Would be good for lost c**n dogs, livestock and wounded deer retrieval too.. Could have used them the time the girls decided to play in the corn field that was taller then they were; luckily we found all of them!! 😂
