I was digging through some old files today and found the very first wild horse article I ever wrote that got published.

This article was one of my earliest projects for The Cloud Foundation, back when I started volunteering with them at the age of 14. I'm incredibly grateful to them for giving me such a huge opportunity and letting me be a part of their amazing organization so young!

Funny to look back now and see how far everything has come since then!

I've had several people interested in our b***os ask if they're good with dogs. I think I'll start sending them this video in response...😃

Rudy and Cecelia are not only good with dogs, but have also been exposed to small livestock (poultry and goats). They're still available for adoption and would be a perfect addition to your family/farm! ❤️

One of the most important things for anyone working in animal rescue is to take a step back and look at how far they've come. 💪🐴

It’s so easy to get caught up in the challenges of rescue work that we sometimes forget to pause and appreciate the good moments. 🌻

If you’ve ever watched a horse drink, you may have noticed their ears twitching and wondered why. The reason is actually quite simple! 🤓

Horses flick their ears while drinking because the muscles used for swallowing are connected to those that control ear movement. Each time they swallow, this connection triggers a small reflex—causing that rhythmic ear twitch you see while they drink.💧
