When is it time?

It can be difficult to know when it is time to consider compassionate euthanasia for our beloved pets. For some making that decision comes with a terminal medical diagnosis. For others, assessing your pet's quality of life due to their advancing limitations are an important consideration. When you're unsure how to proceed it can be helpful to schedule a quality of life exam with your routine Veterinarian to discuss what options you may have going forward or if it may be the right time to consider euthanasia. In-home euthanasia may not be the best fit for every situation, but if in-home euthanasia is something you are considering we are honored to help in that most delicate and precious time.

“Dr. Maggie was very compassionate and helpful during a rough and emotional time. She also was kind enough to work in my appointment a day earlier than scheduled when my fur baby started taking a turn for the worse. She took her time and explained each step. I would HIGHLY recommend her and helping your babies cross the 🌈 bridge from home. Less stressful on everybody and less fearful. My sweet boy spent the day in the sunshine in his comfy chair and a nice breeze right up until our appointment time. I will cherish this time saying goodbye in the quietness of our home and our other baby could see & understand that his wingman was gone so as not to cause additional stress on him. 💜🙏”
