Quail Spotlight! 🔦
Just for no reason to show yall random pics we take of our birds, Quail Spotlight! We take so many cute pics, and today’s bird is this Northern Bobwhite in a hanging planter😍

We have these guys in a 8x16’ aviary and they’re loving it! We just keep packing it with more and more decor 🤣

We will have eggs from these guys available come spring of 2027!

🤎Nismo Checking in on her chicks🤎
She loves all her animals! 😭😊
Every night she puts them to bed, we just say, “lock em up” and she’ll run to each pen and check for monsters then wait for us to close up each one before going to the next! 👏

Happy Monday, everybody! We didn’t drop off the face of the planet, so I hope yall stuck around!😅 It’s been a bit daunting to begin posting again after losing all of our birds but we’re back! We’ve taken a bit of a different path in terms of what we have here.

So first, MEET BERLIN! 🎭 He is one of our California Valley Quail that we got from Maine-ly Quail! We wanted to get some more interesting a fun birds and these guys are IT! Can anyone guess what he’s named after?👀

We are also keeping bobwhites that we got locally! We had bobwhites in the past but one of our dogs releases them all, so here we are for round two! ✊🏼😅

We still have Dani’s Button quail going strong, too!

We have some Coturnix right now but not sure what colors we’re going to raise just yet. We’re definitely going to dial back in terms of color variations and focus on just a couple colors.

FOAM SHIPPERS!!
When it comes to foam, we will begin doing foam again here shortly! Our equipment was extremely pricey, and we just can’t afford to buy it. Insurance will cover all of it, so once we can get the funds to replace everything, we will! When that happens, we’ll be sure to let everyone know!

With that being said, thank you to everyone who has reached out and supported us! Yall are the best ❤ We’re excited to continue our quail journey and share it with all of yall! 😊

Hey, everyone I just wanted to say thank you so so so freaking much for everything! This community has been absolutely amazing to say the least. The amount of support yall have shown is beyond belief and brings tears to my eyes ❤️ We have since moved out of our home and into Dani’s mother’s house. We’re so grateful to have this as an option and there’s room for us to start our quail and foam operation up again. We’re not usually ones to put our hardship online for everyone to see as it’s somehow embarassing for me but this was such a big loss I felt I had no choice. Everyone has made Dani and I feel so loved during this it’s amazing! And if didn’t like your post or share, etc it’s just because I missed it ❤️ I’ve spent very minimal time on here as I’m dealing with nonstop calls and appointments everyday, going to the old house, it’s so so exhausting and when I get back i just need to decompress 😣 I won’t just keep rambling but I could say thank you thank you thank you all day and it wouldn’t be enough! You guys have shown what this community can do, how it can come together to support one another and it’s like something out of a movie! Thank you so much 😭❤️

Timelines for foam and eggs: We don’t have any predicted timelines for when we’ll open foam orders again since we need to replace all of our equipment. I will keep everyone posted on here once we get our new equipment ordered, so please plan accordingly. We’ll open egg orders again more than likely after winter. So many of yall have offered to send us eggs as well, and we’re so grateful for that. Luckily we had a couple projects set aside so those lines may be saved. When I threw them in the incubator it reminded me of the Finding Nemo scene where Marlon found the last egg which was Nemo 😅 lol Anyways I had to find humor in this SOMEWHERE.

Here’s a picture of Nismo and her chickens in her new backyard for tax. And btw yes Nismo is taking the move very well, she’s protecting her original chickens as well as the flock that’s already here. She definitely favors her original chickens though which are the ones she’s laying with here 😅 🩵

Hey, everyone! We unfortunately had a house fire that started from a fan shorting out.
Dani and I made it out of the house with her cat and Nismo, but the fire took our entire garage, which was our home base for all of our quail. None of our coturnix quail made it out, and the cages didn't make it either. It is very devastating losing all the work we put into our birds and how far we've come with them. We have a place to stay in the meantime, but we will not be fulfilling any egg or foam orders at this time. We will be continuing our journey with our quail, just with a setback. We would appreciate any donations to help during this time to get us back on our feet! Thank you so much ❤ If you’d like to donate, I will link our go fund me or you can scan the qr.

Went out to see this in our cages yesterday 😣

Love these cages but they are not predator proof unfortunately! We had a crazy storm roll through and it pushed the snake into our garage and he was pleasantly surprised with a buffet. He was removed and relocated!

We might have an IMPOSTER 🎭
on our hands! 🤣

I love the eyes on this little button quail! Most of our buttons have those little black eyes but this one is special! For you button folks out there, this is a blue face button, right?

08/12/2026

FINALLY!! 🎉🎉 We got our button quail to lay some eggs, and it only took approximately 1,000 mealworms as payment 🤣 We have a system now: we collect eggs, it rains mealworms. It seems to be a fair trade lol

Coturnix fairy egg next to a button egg!

🤯 Come pack some chicken eggs with us! We’re using these insulated foam shippers to balance out temperature fluctuations while eggs are being shipped!
