This is one of our cats we’ve been taking care of this week! He was so sweet and right as he was fixing to go out his cat door he turned around and looked at me and showed his fangs and did a big meow! 🎃🐈‍⬛

Sometimes, being part of a community means stepping up when an unexpected need arises. 🐾❤️

We recently received an urgent call about four cats left in a local home after a family member passed away. The homeowner, who lives out of state, reached out for help finding them a safe place to go. For about a month, kind people had been stopping by to make sure they were fed, but the cats needed a more permanent solution.

Although trapping isn’t part of our usual pet-sitting services, this situation was right here in our community, and we wanted to help.

A huge thank-you to our local Animal Control team, especially Jesse, who went above and beyond to help us. His compassion for these cats and commitment to making sure they were safely and humanely captured made all the difference.

After five days of daily trap-setting and working closely with Jesse, all four cats are now safe and receiving care at the Humane Society of New Braunfels! We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make that happen. ❤️

We do know the calico cat is one they are working with and is not in with the feral cats. For right now, the other three cats are labeled, feral and working cats. They are all very scared and have been on their own since their owner passed away. They only know the home that they lived in and the people they were around.

Now comes the exciting part: helping these four cats find loving forever homes. 🐱🏡

We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Please share this post and help us spread the word. You never know who might be looking for a new furry family member!

Every little bit of kindness makes a difference, and we’re happy these four cats have a fresh start. ❤️🐾

I don’t mind getting up early to do Pet visits, especially when you get to see the sunrise! The sky was absolutely beautiful and my phone did it no justice. The deer you get to see out in the morning are beautiful too!

Fostering is one of the most fulfilling things that you can do! Not only is it saving a life through actual hands on work, but it is great for families wanting to give back and/or teach kids about responsibility and animal care. We are ALWAYS looking for more foster families, and some of the primary...
