Sweet Ember update 🧡
Our little Ember, the baby I’ve been syringe feeding.. is officially in the double digits now, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Watching her go from needing that extra help every step of the way to now being strong enough to nurse fully from Mom, play with her siblings, and even try soft food mixed with kitten milk has been such a beautiful thing to witness.
She absolutely loved her little meal.. messy chin and all. 🥹
That tiny dirty chin is a reminder of just how far she’s come.
This girl has fought so hard, and seeing her grow stronger every day is such a blessing. Thank you to everyone who has loved her, checked on her, and rooted for her along the way. Ember is thriving, and we are so, so thankful. 🧡✨

I want to remind everyone that I THINK Ember is a girl we do not know yet 100% by a vet just yet. The vet won’t be able to tell me genders for another month!

Starting with saying I am NOT 100% sure!!! But my best guess is 2 boys & 1 girl!!! The only I believe to be a girl is the first one I’m calling her Ember. Ember has showed SO much improvement today with not only her weight but her little eye clearing up too!!!
The middle is the polydactyl that I believe to be a boy & I’m calling him Rowan after his Dad Rogan 😍
& the last picture if the standard foot again what I BELIEVE to be another boy that I’m calling Crimson! 🧡 Excited to see if I’m right!!

My sweet black smoke boy from my very first litter has officially left for his new home in New Orleans, and I don’t think there are enough words to explain what this moment feels like. 🖤
Being from my first litter, he will always carry a piece of my heart in a way that is hard to describe. He was part of the beginning… The first tiny paws, the first little milestones, the first sleepless nights, the first proud moments, and the first time I truly got to watch my love for this breed come full circle.
Raising these babies is so much more than “having kittens.” It is loving them before they even open their eyes. It is watching them grow, worrying over every little thing, celebrating every ounce gained, every new step, every playful pounce, and every piece of personality that starts to shine through. It is pouring your heart into them and then having to be strong enough to let them go when the perfect family comes along.
This boy is so special. His gorgeous black smoke coat, his presence, his sweetness, and the way he has grown into himself has made me so incredibly proud. Watching him leave was bittersweet in every way.. My heart is sad to say goodbye, but it is also so full knowing he is going to be deeply loved, spoiled, and cherished in his new life.
To his new family in New Orleans… Thank you for loving him already. Thank you for seeing what I see in him. Thank you for giving one of my babies the kind of home every breeder hopes and prays for. I cannot wait to watch him grow, thrive, and become everything he was meant to be.
This is one of the hardest parts of being a breeder, but also one of the most beautiful. These kittens may leave my home, but they never leave my heart.
Go be amazing, sweet boy. You were loved from the very beginning, and you always will be. 🖤🐾

Tiny but MIGHTY 💪🏼 update on one of Circe’s three babies! 🧡 One of our little ones needs extra support & has been getting syringe fed every 2 hours 🍼 because it wasn’t gaining weight how we would like to see. Even though this baby has been latching onto Mom, sometimes the smallest ones just need a little extra help, patience, & love! 😻 The good news is that we are gaining weight at a nice rate now!! Every tiny bit matters & every little improvement feels like a victory!! We are also fighting through a gunky eye right now, so I’m keeping a very close watch & doing everything I can to help this baby keep moving in the right direction! This little one is TINY but SO strong& I’m praying for the best outcome. Please keep this sweet baby in your thoughts!! 🫶🏼

Circe has decided her babies belong wherever I am.
One by one she picks them up from their condo & brings them to the couch beside me… gently placing each kitten next to me like she’s saying, “Here watch them with me” & once they’re settled, she climbs up too & keeps herself & her babies right next to me for as long as I’ll sit here. There’s something so special about the trust. She knows her babies are safe with me, & that kind of bond is something I’ll never take for granted.
Watching her love them, protect them, & include me in that little world is one of the most beautiful parts of raising Manie C**ns. Circe is such a devoted Mama, & these babies are already just so surrounded with so so much love!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Circe & her beautiful litter made it through their first night smoothly & my heart couldn’t be more full!
Those first hours are always so important & I’m so proud of how Circe has stepped into her motherhood. She’s attentive, protective & already pouring so much love into these sweet babies! Everyone is nursing, resting, & settling in exactly how we’d hope to see. There is something so special about watching a new litter begin their journey.. Tiny little lives with so much promise ahead of them. I’m feeling incredibly grateful, excited, & ready for what the future holds for them as they grow, develop, & begin showing us who they are!
This is only the beginning & I know already that this litter is going to be something truly spectacular! ✨
