Posing practice is always fun when you are intent on being a turd. At least he finally put 4 feet on the ground instead of two, but still not what I asked for 😆.

Our first litter of REW carrying mini lops turned 2 weeks old today! They refuse to stay in the nest box, so I had to flip it for them. They explored until they passed out!

Went through a litter of four woolies today! It's a good problem to have when you really like three of them, and the 4th is still nice (just lacking a bit in the HQ).

I can tell I'm going to have hoarding problems lol.

Two litters. Five babies.

Five Bucks.

Ugh. Not such great odds for me this time!

You'd think that would make it easier to decide, but even worse-

In the litter of three, we have the best body on the broken with no nose marking. The worst wool, but best head/ear on the broken with the half 'stache. The wool I need on the buckling with the worst head/ear.

I give up. 😂

Love finding these past reminders of Keep's Rabbitry! I donated a lot of my trophies years ago, but kept my Convention and Nationals prizes. They keep popping up as we pack to move.

My favorite Siamese Sable wooly buck's first litter was born tonight!

The lovely REW mama produced two REWs and two colored babies- color TBD, but I'm hoping for more shadeds!

Harper has named one of my 2 week old woolies "Jelly Bean". I don't remember signing off on that name 😆.

Four beautiful babies born to our new otter doe, Lady! 3 REW and 1 Black. I'm particularly excited about the black, as otter isn't normally a color I work with.

The sad part of raising rabbits comes on days like today. A new doe to our barn built a beautiful nest, but unfortunately lost her whole litter.

Kiddo has a pet snake, so the stillborn babies will be repurposed, and their very brief lives will serve a noble purpose of feeding another creature.

The doe is getting lots of love and treats. It won't make up for losing her babies, but hopefully she can feel our care for her a little more today.
