The story behind the “ Heart Horse” freeze brand.
Wendy LeGate of Old Growth Oak Morgans ( OGO) had long thought of creating a freeze brand for the Morgans she has bred. Mostly as an identifier for her Morgans in case they should ever fall victim to horse thieves , which has happened more than once in the past. The freeze brand would be a mark where there would be no question of who or what they are.

Linda Rock Gonynor, came up with this simple clean design of a freeze brand and it will be applied to all the Morgans Linda owns and Wendy LeGate owns, OGO prefixed or not. All the Morgans in Dawson GA with Linda will be freeze branded first.
Mature stallions and geldings will get the larger brand on the left hip.
OGO Circle H Gold King and OGO Higuera King Ash Fire
The mature mares will get the smaller freeze brand on the left shoulder.
Anakus Sara Field - OGO Farcuers Tessa - OGO Primavera Gold Oak
Foals will get the smaller freeze brand on the left shoulder or hip dependant on gender. OGO FarWest Smooth Slider - OGO W R Hacienda Butte as c**ts will be on the left hip
Updates will be posted as this happens so people can see the outcome.
The Morgans in MI will be the next to be freeze branded the end of May beginning of June .
Those that have a OGO prefixed Morgans in other area can request the use of the heart horse freeze brand if desired.
