🎉 Happy 80th Birthday to the most incredible dad! 🎂

Today, we celebrate a man whose kindness, intelligence, and love have touched so many lives. My dad, a pioneering programmer who worked on some of the first military computers, went on to design software that improved healthcare for millions. Despite his battle with dementia, his spirit remains unbreakable, and he still says I give the best hugs. 🤗

Dad, you’ve always been an animal whisperer, nurturing everything from baby birds to pet tarantulas. Your love for all creatures taught me to see the beauty in life and embrace my quirks. I’m so grateful to have you as my dad and wish everyone could have a Doug in their lives. You truly are the greatest man I know. ❤️
