40 Cal Kennels is a family owned business, run out of our home. We have no outdoor kennels, just a simple dog friendly home environment for your fur babies to reach their ful

l potential and enjoy. At a big name facility your dog will spend much more time caged or crated, Most likely only brought out for brief training sessions, your pet is a part of the pack! Treated with the same care as we would treat our own. 3. More personalized than a facility. 4. your pet won't be returning home to a facility. 5. Desired behaviors will translate easier when returning to a similar environment that it was trained. At 40 Cal, training consists of Puppy Training, Basic Obedience and Behavioral Modification. Our personal dogs are APBT'S and we specialize in large breeds, but will take any breed. We also offer transportation services so owners don't have to take as much time out of their busy schedule to drop off or pick up their dogs. We offer daily/weekly updates via text, pictures, and videos.

40 Cal prides itself on helping strengthen the bond between owners and their dogs... We offer psychology based training methods, instead of relying on bribery methods such as treats. 40 Cal builds your dog's character, Therefore making them a better dog! Sometimes it's only a matter of the language barrier between the two species. Our job is to break that language barrier and help both dog and human become better equipped at communication. For our boarding guests, we want to offer a comfortable alternative to a commercial boarding facility. At 40 Cal, visitors are ALWAYS welcome! Our Story

We are dedicated and reputable hobby breeders (hobby meaning we do NOT make a profit or a living off of selling dogs). We take pride in breeding conformation correct and mentally sound APBT'S that adhere to the UKC breed standards (a dog should look as good on all fours as it does on paper). Our puppies are born and kept in a loving home environment, assuring a healthy, happy and well-adjusted puppy whether they are destined for the show ring or for loving homes as excellent companions. Our dogs are indoors with human interaction and training daily (not outside chained to a post or locked in "kennels") ALL BREEDING STOCK ARE HEALTH TESTED AND TITLED (to bring you only the best)! We have implemented The Bio-Sensor or "Super Dog Program" into our socialization and temperament development process (SMART DOGS MAKE SMART PUPPIES)! The Bio Sensor program easily fits into our well established puppy rearing process and supports our values. We have very high expectations for our dogs and breeding program. We strive for sound temperaments, health and correct structure in all of our breedings. We expect our dogs to be able to perform any task we ask of them; service dog/k-9 training, conformation shows, obedience, lure coursing, agility, scent work, weight pull, or simply being a companion. We have had experience with the breed for over 30 years and all of our dogs have been raised with children.
