This is Maya, Star’s daughter. Maya passed away around thanksgiving from a tumor on her bladder. She was 12 1/2. RIP sweet girl!! Run free at the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge!!

Star Update:
Her follow up vet appt w her reg vet is Thurs morning @ 10:30. I emailed them this afternoon w the records from the emergency vets & now they have them in her chart! 🥰🥰

Prayers needed for my Star baby. She's 14. Had to take her to emergency vet Sat evening. Her right shoulder was lame. Since they wanted to put her on Galliprant for a pain killer, they took blood work for her kidney/liver function. Her ALT was so off the chart high, the vet had to dilute it to get any kind of reading. Vet gave her pain meds & a liver supplement for now. Have to bring her in soon for a follow up to see what other tests are needed to figure out why. She doesn't seem to have any symptoms of hepatitis so I guess that's a good thing, but who knows.

Took Star to the vet the other day. She was having trouble getting up on our couch & as she's now 13, she prob has arthritis & needs some anti-inflammatory.

Vet said she's starting to get cataracts & that she's also starting to get arthritic in her rear legs (her mom had both issues also) Vet prescribed Galliprant & Dasuquin Advanced. She seems to be doing better but I know that almost nothing happens overnight w dogs. So I'll see.
