Happy Memorial Day! Today we are going to celebrate with the new puppies that were born last night to Phoebe!!!
Currently, there is one black girl and one black boy available.
**If you are interested in either of these, please contact me as soon as possible because there is a small window to dock the tail, if that’s your preference, otherwise I am thinking of leaving them natural for this last litter.

I think I might be the biggest sucker when it comes to my dogs. I literally try every gimmick, probiotic, pheromone diffuser, anything that I feel might help them with whatever ails them. What has been really bothering me lately is the preventative flea and tick medicine. I use a topical treatment on the dogs, and for the most part, it works; I have had flea infestations in the past, but my guess is, I forgot the topical treatment that month. I live in a swamp, and next to my backyard are goats, and all sorts of other livestock so fleas, ticks, and mosquitos are a battle. Since Phoebe is on her last litter, I just can’t bring myself to give her that topical flea treatment. Maybe its because of what happened to Maple, or maybe I just dont like chemicaI insecticides- I don’t understand the mechanism by which a parasite can bite something, and the host’s (dog) blood contains such a poison that it kills the insect.

The point: I’m sure I will go back to the topical sitting in my cabinet because i hate fleas, but I just wanted to let everyone know I was trying this natural, essential oil pendant that Facebook is pushing on me because it knows my weakness.
I will let you know if I feel like it is or isn’t working , but for now we’re gonna try, especially on mama with babies on board. The dogs are modeling below.

Due to personal reasons, and shifting our focus to livestock production, we are going to end our toy poodle breeding program. The final mating pair was going to be scheduled for spay/neuter when we received the devastating news that our beloved granddog Maple died suddenly.
Maple was a poodle that we gifted to our first granddaughter when we initially became interested in the breed ourselves. We purchased her with an intention to breed her but she was far too small and we did not want to risk her life (3.5 lbs). She made a huge impact on our family, frequently spent vacations with us, and we loved her like our own.
The day that Maple died, Phoebe went into heat and we took it as a sign for one last litter. Expecting puppies on May 30 which is , ironically , Maple’s birthday.
We love you and miss you sweet girl and we will play with you again someday!
