We are grateful that you joined us for the new date and time. We are already working on our summer series of yappy hours at breweries on the second Saturday of the month, and the Holiday Barkzaar in November.

Thank you all for joining us at Woofstock After Dark at The Barnacle on Sunday! 🐾🌳Our hearts are full!

We came together to support and . The night was beautiful: the pups loved their arts & crafts, their doga session with and live tunes by Alejandro Elizondo. They especially loved the lure course, off-leash play zone, and shopping!

Together with our incredible sponsors and vendors, we raised almost $9000 for the Barnacle and Paw Patrol! ☀️🐶💚

Pro tip: arrive early! The Grove is busy on weekends so factor enough time for finding parking and walking over. 🅿️ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

If your pup is shy or nervous, we recommend you join our smaller events. 🫶🏽 Please sign a dog waiver before coming into the park (link in bio or in person). If a dog is aggressive, we will ask them to leave. 😔⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
✅Tip 1: Your dog must be current with all their vaccines. Bring proof of rabies vaccine to enter the park and dogs must have collars with ID.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
❎Tip 2: Don’t bring sick or immunocompromised pets to events. If you notice your dog isn’t feeling well, has a cough, runny nose, or diarrhea, please keep them home.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

❎Tip 3: Don’t share water bowls. We have a hydration station with water and individual bowls.
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
❎Tip 4: Don’t bring anxious dogs to large events. It’s not the ideal place to try to socialize a nervous nelly.💚 Do it in controlled doses with a trainer, or join our smaller groups on June 13 at .⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

✅Tip 5: Keep your dogs on a hand-held leash (no more than 6 ft) except in designated areas. ⁣ Retractable leads aren’t allowed except in certain cases.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

✅Tip 6: Pick up your dog’s poop!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

❎Tip 7: Don’t take aggressive, reactive, or very undisciplined pets to public events. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave for everyone’s safety.

✅Tip 8: Pay attention to dogs’ body language & be careful with leashed greetings-they can be stressful. Note hackles, tails (are they relaxed and wagging, or raised stiffly, tucked between the legs?), brows, & mouth shape.⁣ ⁣

✅Tip 9: Keep your dog cool and hydrated. Take breaks in the shade and remove costumes periodically. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

✅Tip 10: Be attentive to your dog’s mood. If they seem agitated or uncomfortable, it might be time to leave.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

We have an incredible lineup of local businesses: groomers, veterinarians, and trainers, cute accessories, leashes, fresh treats, supplements, and more. It’s the perfect doggie date under the stars!

Beau is a Mood! We are feeling as reflective as he is. We’ve had a wonderful week walking dogs and taking care of kitties while also preparing for Woofstock After Dark. We have poured our hearts and souls into it, and at this point, we have to leave the weather up to the universe. But thoughts, prayers, and candles wouldn’t hurt. So everyone, crossed your paws that this Sunday is a beautiful, sunny day! ☀️☀️☀️
