So Biscuit has an inner ear issue where she has a hard time hearing and not able to figure out what direction sounds are coming from. So I’ve trained her to respond to the vibration on her vibe collar. I’ve basically taught her to start looking for her person when she feels the vibration. If you have your sound on, you can hear when I click the button and how quickly she responds

Tomorrow you can help save pets in need!

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is teaming up with Girl Scout Troop 288 and the South Lake Tahoe Fire Department for a Pet Food Drive on Saturday, June 28, from 3–6 PM at Raley’s (1040 Emerald Bay Rd).

HSTT needs cat and dog kibble, canned food, treats, and kitty litter. All food will be distributed to local families in need.

Donations can be dropped at Raley’s, where we hope to fill the Fire Battalion Chief’s vehicle!

There are ongoing drop-off bins at Safeway (SLT & Stateline), Grocery Outlet, and Raley’s SLT.
