Clementine is a leopard gecko that we saw recently at for a hemipene plug removal.

Male reptiles can experience accumulations of hardened seminal fluid and other secretions called a “hemipenal” or “sperm” plug that typically assist them in their natural reproductive cycle. Unfortunately, sometimes they can have difficulty expelling them naturally and will need our help!

Lady was seen through BVS at our partnership location for a concern with her eye. In the last slide, you can see a video of Dr.Mo checking her eye pressure with a tonometer! This device is a quick and painless way to measure an animal’s intra ocular eye pressure.
