Rescuing animals is not easy and the more you rescue, the more you experience the pain of loss. Jimmy crossed over today and he is now with his love…Spirit. Spirit passed in January and they had a special bond. William and Benjamin had a hard time today with the passing of Jimmy. Jimmy had a bad case of heaves and he lived a long life into his 30’s. He was my first horse rescue and know what I did was the right thing but my heart says differently. Fly high my boy, you are loved by many ❤️❤️❤️

We have some very sad news, Miss Sophia just crossed over the rainbow bridge, she was admitted to Tufts Large Animal Hospital where they found a large mass in her belly, stomach ulcers and bad arthritis. She’s an elderly pig and recovery from any type of surgery would have been too hard for her, especially anesthesia. She hid her pain very well but she was starting to refuse food so we knew something was wrong. Hugs and prayers to all that knew and loved her. ❤️❤️❤️

The twins are settling in nicely and all together now. Sky taking a break for a late afternoon nap!
