Della & Friends Fundraiser

ATTENTION !!! 🌟 one more day to snag some raffle tickets and donate to a couple of great rescues!!! 🌟

We will be raffling off two mini spaw days and one full spa day to raise funds for local rescues caring for special medical cases! You can buy raffle tickets at $7 apiece or 3 for $15 via Venmo, cash app, cash drop off to our shop or if you are a client we can charge your card on file ! What inspired this fundraiser?? It was our beloved special needs foster kitten, Della. 💛
Some of you may have been lucky enough to meet sweet Della while she lived with us at the shop. She was a very special girl. Della was born with a compressed spine, malformed back legs and a myriad of associated health problems. Despite it all, she was a real sweetheart who loved playing with her rambunctious brother, getting frequent baths from mom and cuddling with her protective sister Stevie. 💛
She had many friends to thank for the love she knew in her brief but beautiful little life. 💛
The incomparable kitty experts, Miche of and Marge of , helped us care for her daily needs every step of the way. The wonderful Dr. Thygesen and the techs at Qi Veterinary were so gentle and loving while providing Della weigh the care necessary to make her time with us as comfortable & happy as possible.

In her honor, we will be having an annual raffle to raise funds for Queen City Cats and Kira’s Fund. The funds raised will go to providing essential medical care to local pups & kitties! 💛💛💛

Hi folks !!

We at Queen City Paw Spa stand in solidarity with our migrant neighbors and condemn the horrific actions of ICE agents across the US. We will be closed 7/1/25 to join in a nationwide protest calling out sick, sick of ice!!

In place of the work day, we will be raising funds for by donating baths and nail trims to a raffle being hosted by at ! We will also be providing mini spa treatments on site, please bring your puppers by, this is a dog & family friendly event. We will have live music, snacks, great raffle prizes from the likes of , and heaps of information on how to protect yourself and your neighbors from ICE! All funds raised will be donated to !

CALL OUT SICK July 1 in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors

On July 1, don’t go to work and:
- Support immigrant street vendors and small businesses
- Go to a march, community event or meet-up
- Donate to an organization taking action or providing emergency relief for immigrant families
- Join or form an immigrant defense committee in your area
- Post messages and videos explaining why you’re participating
- AND MORE! JULY 1 is a DAY TO DO SOMETHING. No business as usual.

We must all unite, and not let immigrant workers be terrorized and isolated. This is not just an immigrant thing — everyone with citizenship has a duty to stand up!

🌈 Festive for Pride Month!! 🌈

We gave one of our team member’s pups, Taquito, a first crack at our new opawz semi-permanent pet safe dye!

We think the results are pawtty cute! 🐾 🏳️‍🌈

Lasting between 6-12 washes, it’s a fun and unique way to showcase your pets personality and add a little flair!🦄

For shorter term decoration, we also have opawz pet safe dye markers for smaller designs, that last 1-3 washes.

As we are still learning this new medium at the shop, we will be offering some simple practice designs at discounted prices while we learn the ins and outs! 🐕

And just like that spring has sprung! 🌱 We can't tell you how much we and our fur friends have enjoyed the sunshine today, along with the chance to stop and sniff the flowers! EXCITING UPDATE : ADOPTED. Hades’ foster fell In love with his antics & we are happy to announced he’s now a foster fail! 🩵🩵🩵

Thank you Wendy Montanez for al your hard work getting this fella from Puerto Rico to his forever home!

Meet Messi Hades!

Where he comes from:
This handsome fella was just about a month old when he was found dodging vehicles on a dark street in Puerto Rico. After being rescued and given the proper veterinary treatment, he was placed in a home for a few months. Unfortunately, what he thought would be his forever home was not to last, the family decided to move states and left him behind.
Sent to Vermont by a rescue organization from PR, we have been fostering this little guy at Queen City Paw Spa on the hunt for a new FURever home!

Today: Never a dull moment with this handsome boy! He is a bundle of joy, silliness and playful energy! He loves snuggling while purring and sitting on your shoulder whilst you walk around. He has a huge personality with all kinds of funny quirks that will keep you giggling and smiling!
He has met both dogs and cats and has done pretty well with both! We do recommend he goes to a home with cat savvy dog/s and older/bigger cat/s than him, as he can be a bit tenacious!

We at the shop will be very sad to see him go as he’s become quite a staple around here, but we know that he will bring a household so much happiness and he would love more attention and a home.

Deets: Approx 5 months old, neutered, fully vaccinated and f***l negative and currently utd on flea medication.

$: No adoption fee but we do hope you consider donating to the rescue
