🌟 ~ TRAINER SPOTLIGHT ~ 🌟
At Queen City Paw Spa we work with a lot of pups facing fear, reactivity and trauma. While we do our best to work through these big feelings at the shop, we often find that we need a more comprehensive approach for a number of our shop pups. As a dog groomer who specializes in pups with fear & trauma, it is such a blessing to have found a trainer we can confidently recommend to our clients. I have sent all of my clients seeking assistance navigating fear, anxiety, reactivity and general trauma to Jenny and all of them have made leaps and bounds thanks to her. Recently, we finally had the privilege of working with her directly and she has already made a world of a difference in the life of my canine nephew. He struggles with anxiety about new environments, larger pups and stranger danger which makes life scary for him. Jenny won him over and provided a comprehensive plan for working through his fears and anxieties. She only uses positive reinforcement and makes rewards, both snackies and praise, a major part of the learning experience. Thanks to her, Pico was able to navigate his trial day at day care and he continues to show that she has taught him the skills to handle stressful situations with self regulation & positive reinforcement.
