I decided to take four of our dogs to the UKC show last weekend in Shipshewana Indiana, since I had to take Ziggy back home to Fort Wayne! Wow is all I can say! Every one of them exceeded my expectations!
Ziggy-(our sons dog and father to Zazie's litter/grandfather to Diamond x Stetson litter) hasn't been shown in a few years, but you would have never known that the way he strutted his stuff in the ring. He not only took Best of Breed under three of the judges, but he also managed to get a Herding Group 4 under Judge Karen Cattin.
Secret-(Dakota x Billy daughter) at only 5 months old, not only charmed everyone with her wonderful personality, but she managed to win a Best in Show Puppy at her very first show!
Legacy-(Oakley x Renegade daughter and great granddaughter of Annie) at only 15 months old won Best of Breed under 3 of the judges and then a Herding Group 4 under judge Marion Campbell and a Herding Group 1 under judge Sharon Griffon!
Annie-(grandmother to Image x Drifter litter) was a rockstar! At over 10 years old, she won Best in Show Veteran and Reserve Best in Show Altered dog under judge Marion Campbell, Reserve Best in Show Altered dog under Karen Cattin, and another Reserve Best in Show Altered dog under Judge Kimberly Caines. Then she really amazed me when I entered in weight pull and she pulled a 400 lbs cart. She won 1st place and Most weight pulled by a Veteran all 3 times earning a new title and a Total dog Ribbon! She also earned her Spot On title and her Champion conformation title making it 69 titles total so far!
Rohi-(Dream x Rodeo litter and owned by Margie) won Best of Breed x 6, Herding Group 2, Herding Group 3, 1st and 4th place in Rally and a Total Dog Ribbon!
