Beloved LGR Family, the year is coming to a close. Our parent rescue Family Dog Rescue (FDR) has rescued, rehabbed and rehomed many a Loup Garou in 2025. Many found their forever homes, while a handful weren’t so fortunate. However, those who didn’t still live and thrive amongst the loving care of our family at our sanctuary in the southwest. Hercules and K’ndra, 2 black coated chow chows who were rescued in California (Hercules from a city in the East Bay Area and K’ndra from a Central California rest stop) are amongst those who have a forever home because DOG + HUMAN = FAMILY! While she focused on creating her rescue on a real life tragedy she witnessed while pulling companion animals in municipal shelters - the black dog syndrome - as many of you know, our founder, Jennifer, had a kinship with the chow chow breed. Having a sanctuary for Hercules and K’ndra to land is a dream come true for her. Please help us continue to make dreams come true. Please donate what you can to Family Dog Rescue.
