Vacation plans - 1) Where is the dog staying? 2) Where are we staying on vacation? 3) What airline and flight reserved? Don't put step number #1 last. Easier to cancel reservations for dog than airbnb or airline tickets.

Now is a good time to set your dog up for an interview/tour before vacation time sets in. I have had people call up to get their dog in for boarding because they forgot to set something up, had someone cancel for coverage or some other emergency. An interview/tour takes about 20 -30 minutes, if the dog is accepted, the customer likes what they see and the file is set up, we try to accommodate as best we can. Best to have your dog cleared for more than one place to stay. In many instances, we have been able to handle emergencies and other schedule problems for customers. Also, we have had people call up about "our" lost dog they found (customer's dog with our red tag) and we got them re-united. We are accepting new customers after a successful completion of an interview/tour. Be safe, plan ahead for your coverage.

Unless it is posted here by me or related to pets/dogs, it will be deleted. The page is about primarily dog boarding and occasionally dog related. Quick reminder - last day of school for SVSD is Monday June 16th. Summer vacation is coming..... We will not be available for boarding July 25 -27.

Yes, we are open to new customers. No bookings available April 12, 2025 a few other days. Second half of April, May, June and most of July current open. It starts with an interview/tour for your dog(s) and you are welcome to accompany them. Look forward to meeting all of you.

Yes, we are doing dog boarding. Website down for some reason(?), but we are accepting new dogs. Call and text me an email address to send a kennel stay registration form and driving directions attached to a cover letter. We can set up a brief interview/tour for your dog and you.

Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away?
Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human, they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. You can arrange for the pacemaker to be sent to a vet of your choice. Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option. Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment.
How to donate? Update your will: Leave instructions to have your pacemaker removed and sent to a veterinary clinic of your choice
Ask your doctor to save the pacemaker: When your pacemaker is being replaced or upgraded, ask your doctor to save it for donation
Contact your local vet: Confirm that they would be able to use the pacemaker.
