Let's talk about a topic that's both unavoidable and often overlooked: p**p. Specifically, dog p**p.

Recently, I stumbled upon a post discussing why it's crucial to pick up after our canine companions but not necessary for horses on trails. The argument? Dog p**p, being from omnivores, supposedly poses a significant health hazard due to its slow decomposition rate of over a year and its potential to harbor harmful bacteria and parasites.

But here's the scoop – or shall I say, the p**p scoop? That's just not accurate! 🐾

Raw dog p**p, like the one I found in my pup's kennel after being in the sun for only 6 hours, breaks down in a matter of days. Seriously, no exaggeration. Within hours, it starts to disintegrate, and in a couple of days, it's practically dust (weather permitting, of course). So, the fear-mongering about dog p**p lingering for eons? That's just kibble talk.

Speaking of kibble, ever wonder why your furry friend's p**p is so massive and pungent? Blame it on the kibble! Processed dog food often contains fillers that pass through undigested, resulting in those hefty piles and that unmistakable aroma.

Enter raw-fed dogs. Their p**p tells a different story – one of efficient digestion and nutrient absorption. With a diet free from fillers and artificial additives, their waste breaks down quickly and lacks the offensive odor associated with commercial dog food.

Now, let's set the record straight: I'm not suggesting we leave our raw-fed pals' p**p lying around. After all, nobody wants to step in it, regardless of its decomposition speed. But let's base our actions on facts, not fear.

So, the next time you're out with your pup, remember: pick up, but let's keep the conversation grounded in reality. And maybe, just maybe, consider what's in your dog's dish when you're scooping the p**p. 🐶💩

May’s deep cleaning. There’s a daily clean, weekly cleaning and monthly deep clean. Today was my monthly deep clean. This is a 2 person job and I wouldn’t be able to do it without the help of my Auntie. On the monthly deep cleaning, May thru September, everything comes out of the room. Gets cleaned and pressure washed before going back in. Floor are mopped and steam cleaned. Walls cleaned. Leashes cleaned. Collars cleaned. Treadmills taken apart and cleaned. Everything.
