At four weeks old, play is so much more than fun—it’s one of the most important ways puppies learn about the world around them.

Every tug, gentle pounce, shared toy, and curious interaction is helping them develop communication skills, confidence, problem-solving abilities, and appropriate social behavior. Through enrichment and purposeful play, they’re learning how to interact with one another, explore new textures and objects, and build the foundation for resilient, well-adjusted companions.

These moments may look like simple puppy antics, but they’re some of the biggest lessons they’ll learn. And we love getting to watch their little personalities bloom. ✨🍑🐾

Sometimes the best things aren’t part of the plan. ✨🍑

We had absolutely no intention of holding back a boy from our Sweet Land of Liberty litter.

And then there was him.

From the very beginning, this little boy kept surprising me. As he has grown, he has continued to check box after box—not simply because he is beautiful, but because he represents so many of the things we are intentionally working toward here at Peach & Pawmetto.

✨ Double furnished
✨ Double reduced-shedding genetics
✨ The softest, beautiful wavy coat
✨ Double tan points
✨ Gorgeous traditional markings
✨ And, most importantly, the sweetest little disposition

Genetics can tell us so much about what a puppy may become, but temperament will always matter just as much to me. And there is something incredibly special about this boy that has continued to make me stop and pay attention to him from the very beginning.

So, while holding back a male was certainly not the plan for this litter… apparently he had plans of his own.

We are so incredibly excited to officially introduce the newest little hopeful for our program and to continue watching him develop.

A little piece of home goes with every Peach puppy. 🍑🐾

Going home is such an exciting day, but for a tiny puppy, it’s also a very big transition. They’re leaving behind the only home, mama, and littermates they’ve ever known — so we do everything we can to make those first nights feel a little more familiar. 🤍

Every one of our puppies goes home with their own Snuggle Puppy, complete with a heartbeat and heat pack. Before go-home day, we place them with mama and the litter so they can carry those familiar scents into their new home — a little piece of their first family to curl up beside when everything else is new.

We also include two different teething toys in every going-home bag, because those tiny puppy teeth are coming! 🦷🐶 Having appropriate things to chew from day one helps our families redirect those completely normal puppy teething behaviors while giving sore little gums some relief.

They may seem like small details, but we believe the little things matter — especially when it comes to helping our puppies make that transition from our home to yours. 🍑
