Tell me God ain’t good and works in mysterious ways…this morning I went through McDonald’s and as I was pulling away, an elderly man that I’ve seen around town walking and I saw him get stuff out of the trash once-anyway he stopped me and asked if I had enough money to buy him a cup of coffee because it was so cold. I asked him if he didn’t have any money for food and he said no mam’n, so I gave him $5 (that’s what I had) and told him to buy him something to eat. He thanked me and I went about my business. Fast forward to this evening, I picked up a truck Christmas decoration that I had picked up at least five times over the past few days, and happened to look in the bed part and there was a folded up $20 bill in it. I don’t know why I looked, or why I never saw it before now. My point to this is not to brag on my good deed, but to encourage you that if you can help people , help them. He might have walked on with my $5 and never bought food, but my heart was in the right place and what he did with it is on him. I do think he needed it. It’s hard sometimes but God will bless you when you help others with the right heart.

Sharing from someone’s post because I feel salty today…

Today is Giving Tuesday-you are supposed to give to someone or something , which I do all the time. But does anyone give back to me? Nope. It seems the nicer you are to people and the more you do, they could care less. My small business-do any of my “friends” support it? Very few. Strangers support me more. Do my products get shared by my “friends? Nope, but they’ll share other peoples products without question. Guess you have to be part of a “click” to be worthy. So, when people stop supporting you, or using your products or services, maybe it’s because you didn’t support them. We are in the middle of shopping season, remember to shop small. Help support those that support you. You don’t have to buy something , just share their products on social media. Just a thought, if you own a small business feel free to share.
