Attended a water training day hosted by the Copper State Hunting Retriever Club. The members were so helpful and gave him such a positive experience. He continued to challenge himself and was proud of his accomplishments. He spent most of his time retrieving with the water up to about his elbows but he did get deep enough to actually swim a handful of times. He has an incredible instinct and a high drive for birds. This was an enriching day for him. I love to see him find purpose in this. I’m so proud of him!

Like mother like son

A local retriever club hosted a hunt test this weekend where Pascal had the opportunity to get exposed to the environment and introduced to ducks. He was confident and stable around the sights, smells and sounds. Everyone was friendly and he enjoyed the attention. They offered him birds and he got to watch the big dogs work. He has extreme natural instincts preserved by his breeding pair that allowed this experience positive and exciting!
