Meet "Olive"!!
This sweet foundation bred filly joined the herd a few months ago from Oregon, but spent some time in training down in Indiana before coming home to us here in Michigan. She's become one of baby Anaiah's sitters as they stick together exploring the pastures with mama Nickie close by.

THE PRAYERS ARE WORKING!!!
Our boy has NEW & HEALTHY hoof growth and received his 3rd (and hopefully final) hoof cast last night in anticipation that he will be able to continue to grow the hoof wall and go into a shoe in a few weeks to continue his healing process!!!

Huge "THANK YOU" to Dr. Johnson, the Classic Equine team, and all that have been sending positive messages and prayers for his healing!! The uncertainty of Dusty's prognosis has been challenging, but faith over fear has been & continues to be maintained throughout this extensive & exhausting journey!!! God's got this!!

A bit about us...

Welcome to GolDun Ridge Ranch in Sidney, MI where we are blessed to be raising and breeding a small herd of quality foundation bred American Quarter Horses that love spending time and working with their human partners! We are a family owned operation that has been afforded the opportunity to personally own and raise horses for over 25 years. Over time, we have been carefully selecting and expanding our existing herd to develop a program of exceptional stock that we are certain will meet our goals and the desires of those looking to find their own suitable equine partners to share life’s experiences with. We specialize in raising quality “all around” Foundation Bred American Quarter Horses (NFQHA & FQHA) in RARE colors (grullo, silver, champagne, and other dun & cream dilutes) that possess exceptional dispositions. While we prioritize sound minds, correct conformation, and willing dispositions in our horses, we also believe that a solid pedigree can further expand and advance potential capabilities in the arena or ring, on trails, and out on the ranch. Some of the greats you will find in our bloodlines include: Poco Bueno, King, Little Steel Dust, Blackburn, Hollywood At Dawn, Leo, Driftwood, Wimpy, Peppy San, Peponita, Poco Pine, Easter King, Easter Gentleman, Hollywood At Dawn, Great Pine, Hollywood Jac 86, Topsail Cody, Docs Prescription, High Brow Hickory, Colonel Freckles, Doc Bar, Doc Olena, Zan Parr Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Watch Joe Jack, Peppy San Badger, Topsail Whiz, Whizard Jac, Dash for Cash, Sun Frost, My Skip Vanzi, Sonny Dee Bar along with many others that have been proven in reining, cutting, roping, racing, and other kinds of show & ranch work!!

While most of our own horses are used for trail riding & breeding, our offspring have found jobs out on the ranch, some have begun careers in the arenas and show rings, and others have become valued contributors to various breeding programs across the country as our horses are recognized by AQHA, NFQHA, FQHA, IBHA, & ABRA registries. Our herd members interact with people daily as they are a part of our family and many are also becoming partners in my equine assisted therapy practice where they are integral to the healing process for those working to overcome issues tied to trauma, attachment, relationship issues, substance abuse, anxiety, mood, and personality disorders.
