While everyone else is dressing up, collecting candy, and getting ready for a spooky night, the Chew Crew and Baa Street Boys have just one thing on their minds…

SNACKS! 😂

And with Halloween comes one of their favorite seasonal treats — PUMPKINS! 🎃

Did you know that pumpkins can be a nutritious occasional treat for goats and sheep? They’re a source of fiber, vitamins, and moisture, and our four-legged crew certainly doesn’t mind helping dispose of a few extras! 🌱

🎃 DON’T THROW AWAY THOSE PUMPKINS — DONATE THEM! 🎃

That Goat Guy happily accepts pumpkin donations for our animals!

We’re looking for pumpkins that are:

✅ Unpainted

✅ Uncarved

✅ Fresh and free of rot or mold

🚫 No painted, carved, decorated, moldy, or rotting pumpkins, please! We want to keep our animals happy and healthy.

So before you toss those leftover pumpkins after Halloween, consider giving them a second purpose as a tasty seasonal treat for the Chew Crew and Baa Street Boys! 🐐🐑❤️

Just remember, pumpkins are treats, not a replacement for their regular balanced diet. Even our professional eating machines need moderation! 😂

🐐🌿 ANOTHER JOB DONE, ANOTHER BUFFET CLOSED! 😂🐑 The Chew Crew and Baa Street Boys have officially wrapped up another successful goatscaping project, and WOW, did they deliver! 💪🌿 Last week they tackled an overgrown wooded lot, and the change is clear — open sightlines through the trees and along the fence, space you can actually move through. Goats browse vines, leaves, shrubs and woody growth; sheep take the grasses and lower plants — together they manage layers while keeping mature trees and woodland structure intact. They’re doing what comes naturally and the land can breathe again. Management gives ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐; employees request hay, peanuts, and unlimited vacation! 😂🐐🐑 Need help reclaiming an overgrown lot or fence line? 🐐❤️ MEET THE CREW: PEPPER — 15 YEARS YOUNG AND STILL RUNNING THE SHOW! 👑 Some of the most special members of the That Goat Guy family aren’t out clearing brush or causing chaos on job sites. Some are simply enjoying their golden years, living the good life, and making sure everyone knows who’s really in charge! Meet Pepper, our 15-year-old LaMancha and one of our beloved farm retirees! 🐐❤️ Pepper has had quite the year. After losing his longtime companion, Salt, in August, our sweet old man has been adjusting to life without his best friend. It’s been a big change, but Pepper’s been showing us that even at 15, there’s still plenty of love, personality, and happiness to be found in life’s next chapter. ❤️ And speaking of love, Pepper has found himself a very special new best friend! Meet Marcy, our neighbor and Pepper’s self-appointed personal assistant! 😂❤️ Marcy visits Pepper multiple times a day, making sure he gets plenty of attention, affection, and of course his favorite scratches. She even has a special scratching stick just for him. 🥰 Their bond is something truly special. Pepper knows exactly who Marcy is, and their daily visits have become a little routine that they both look forward to. As Pepper gets older, his needs are changing. He requires a special diet, extra attention, and a little more TLC than our younger goats. But around here, growing old doesn’t mean being forgotten. It means slowing down, enjoying the little things, and being surrounded by people who love you. ❤️ Pepper may not be as young or spry as he once was, but he’s still got plenty of personality, a whole lot of love to give, and apparently his very own retirement staff! 😂 🐐 Because sometimes the most meaningful friendships aren’t between two animals. Sometimes they’re between an old goat and the person who makes him feel special every single day. And something tells us Pepper wouldn’t trade his Marcy for all the hay in the world! 🥰 💬 Does your senior animal have a special person they absolutely adore? Tell us about them!

🐐🌿 NO, MY GOATS DON’T EAT TIN CANS… AND NO, THEY CAN’T EAT EVERYTHING GROWING IN YOUR BACKYARD! 😂

If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me, “Don’t goats eat everything?” I could probably retire and let the Chew Crew take over the business! 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

It’s one of the biggest misconceptions about goats, and it’s time we cleared something up!

GOATS ARE BROWSERS, NOT GARBAGE DISPOSALS! 🐐🌱

Goats naturally enjoy a variety of vegetation, including leaves, vines, shrubs, weeds, and woody plants.

They’re curious, intelligent animals that use their mouths to investigate the world around them.

But just because a goat is willing to taste something doesn’t mean it’s safe to eat!

🚫 NOT ALL PLANTS ARE LIVESTOCK-SAFE!

Some common landscaping plants, including azaleas, rhododendrons, and yews, can be extremely toxic to goats and sheep.

And despite what people might believe, goats don’t have some magical ability to recognize every poisonous plant.

That’s why responsible goatscaping involves much more than showing up with a trailer full of hungry employees!

Before the Chew Crew clocks in, there’s work to be done.

🌿 VEGETATION ASSESSMENT: Identifying plants and potential hazards throughout the grazing area.

🚧 FENCING & PROPERTY SAFETY: Making sure the animals are properly contained and protected.

💧 WATER & ANIMAL CARE: Ensuring access to clean water and appropriate conditions throughout the project.

🧪 CHEMICAL EXPOSURE: Evaluating potential risks from herbicides, pesticides, and other substances.

Because here’s the bottom line:

THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF MY ANIMALS WILL ALWAYS COME BEFORE CLEARING SOMEONE’S PROPERTY. ❤️

Goatscaping is a fantastic vegetation-management tool when it’s done responsibly, but it requires knowledge, preparation, and an understanding of the animals doing the work.

And while Bowser and the rest of the Chew Crew might think every new job site is an all-you-can-eat buffet…

Management still has to approve the menu! 😂🐐🌿
