Ralphie, the Fresh Prince of Fork River I was on the outskirts of the county when this little fellow rescued me. No neighbors knew him, so I guess Denise and I belong to him now.

This has been a hard week… Started when Mom left me with Dad last Saturday to stay with Rachel in Kansas because Chase was shooting a moose or something else big like that. Rachel needed her because she is about to have another puppy really soon.
I worked with Dad all week at the office, played with Lucy and ran around in Matthew Martin and Candice’s back yard. Visited Granny, saw the lights at Riverside Park and walked downtown. After Kiwanis Dad and I bailed out for a long truck ride to Kansas to fetch Mom back. I can’t wait to get back home to my backyard. With Tom Martin

I’m so upset... I think I’ll sue the SEC Network for deformation of character... I was watching the Razorback basketball game agains South Carolina... there was a cut away camera showing the empty seats with cardboard pictures of dogs in them. They zoomed in on a very ordinary looking “generic dog” and said that it looked like a Ralphie. Really? REALLY! I was so embarassed, it looked nothing like a RALPHIE! I’M A RALPHIE!

I don’t think I will ever eat again... I’ll protest with hunger. Yeah, a hunger strike just like Gandhi.

Wait, in the kitchen... I think I heard Denise open a bag of Skinny Pop Popcorn... gotta go check that out. I’ll start the hunger strike tomorrow.

Granny had her knee replaced and we’re all pitching in, doing our part to help out. I’m exhausted from keeping them safe from squirrels. There sure are a ton of them on Lee Street, I thought people ate those things. I’ll say this, no one should go hungry around here.

Three years ago I was taken away from my mother and brothers and sisters, dropped off in a strange place. I spent the night in the woods, I was so afraid, I didn’t understand why. Then I found this guy, he was kind of a dork, but he took me to a real cool lady who really seemed nice. I decided I could live with her, he is kind of a work in progress, I’ll eventually get him whipped into shape. I do like living here, Fork River Road is Home. I’ve just gotta figure out how to get rid of that cat...
