If we had the space and the need for another dam, Monarch would be our choice. She’s an absolutely perfect puppy. She would do well in any type of home.

We normally don’t like to work with first-time dog owners - sometimes even first-time Newfie owners. But Monarch will be an exception.

She is so relaxed and friendly, not overly-needy, loves attention, sure, but will take her fill and then go entertain herself. She will be easy to house train and take well to obedience training. She’s already learned to sit and wait patiently for treats.

She would do well in a home with or without children and with or without other animals.

I really wish we could keep her. She’s a sweetheart.

We won’t be having another litter of Newfies for at least a year, maybe a year and a half, so if you’re interested and can clear some space for a great girl, Monarch would be an outstanding choice.

But please, don’t send us some stupid message asking “price?” and “where?” We’ll just ignore you because you don’t sound serious and, frankly, if that’s all you can muster, you don’t deserve Monarch. All the info is on our website, so look it over and then we can talk.

We really want to place her in a great home. She is so smart and loving and fluffy and just… Yeah, she’s just perfect. You can tell we really want to keep her, don’t you? 😁😁

So, it’s hot here today (90s, humid) and the puppies and the big Newfies went outside and promptly melted into the porch. So they spent most of the day back inside.

And wouldn’t you know it, as soon as they felt the cool, inside air, their eyes regained that sparkle, their step regained that pep, and they thought, Time to Raise Hell 💕💕

There’s a reason they’re called Newfoundlands and not, say, Orlandolands.

We started doing Wisdom Panel tests on our cats, just for fun, really, because we’d already done other DNA testing on them before using them as breeders.

Wisdom Panel claims to be able to identify cat breeds and I’d say they seem accurate.

And just to be clear, you don’t tell them what breed you *think* the cat is; you collect some saliva, send it off, and they do their fancy science and send you a report.
