We are not asking for money, only a little love and compassion. 💔😭
This is Clarita, a stray dog who wants to share a small part of her story with you today.
Her tired little face, her sad eyes, and her thin body say more than any words could ever explain. In her gaze you can see the exhaustion from so many cold nights, from going hungry so many times… and from all the losses she has had to endure.
Clarita lives on the street, among piles of garbage and debris, in a very dangerous place: beside a road where cars speed by without slowing down, and next to a sewage canal that smells strong and carries away everything in its path.
That small piece of dirty ground is the only place she knows as home.
Every day for Clarita is a struggle to survive.
When it rains, the water floods everything.
When it’s hot, there is no shade.
When night comes, the fear begins.
But the most painful part of her story is about her babies.
Clarita has been a mother several times. She always cared for her puppies with all the love she had, searching for food in the trash, protecting them from the cold and from danger.
But many of her little ones did not survive.
Some were run over by cars that passed without stopping.
Others fell into the canal and the current carried them away.
And some simply could not survive the hunger and the harsh life on the streets.
Every time this happened, Clarita stayed there looking for them, quietly crying, unable to understand why the world could be so cruel.
Today, from her last litter, only three puppies remain.
Three small lives that still curl up beside her, searching for warmth and protection.
But Clarita is not alone in this forgotten place.
Two other mother dogs live there with her—also strays, also full of fear—each with their own puppies. Together they keep each other company, watch over one another, and try to survive in the middle of danger.
Sometimes they share a piece of food that someone threw away.
Sometimes all they have is each other.
Seeing them together breaks your heart.
Three mothers fighting for their babies… in a place where no one seems to notice them.
Getting help for Clarita, her puppies, and their little dog friends would truly be a miracle.
A safe place.
A little food.
A little kindness.
A chance to live without fear.
Today we come here with our hearts in our hands… as a last hope for them.
Because sometimes, a small act of love can change everything.
And Clarita, after so much sadness, also deserves to know what it feels like to be happy. 💔😔
