Hello dear future kitten parents, This is by far the hardest update I've ever had to write so please bear with me. As you may or may not know from our Instagram updates my husband posted, I was in a horrible car accident on Monday May 27th leaving me paralyzed from the waist down with broken bones and lots of healing left to do. I've been in the ICU Trauma then moved down to Houston TIRR Memorial for the unforeseen future. That being said, I am no longer able to care for my sweet fur-babies as I have enjoyed doing so for so long. I may not even get to go home for months..... Throughout this, it's weighed heavy on my mind of what to do with the Cattery. I reached out to one of the closest, highly regarded catteries that I knew of - Lavish Cattery in Oklahoma City, OK ran by Jessica and her loving family (https://www.facebook.com/lavishcattery/) (https://lavishcattery.com/) - we've made an agreement for her to take my babies for the next 6 months while I attempt to walk and regain a bit of control over my body and life. In this agreement, she is taking on my waitlist and will be fulfilling it just as I have done with no extra unforeseen charges to my kitty parents. She will also do her best to arrange deliveries as I have done. I have to say this is the hardest hurdle I've ever encountered in my life so far. Losing the ability to walk, and therefore losing my cattery, ability to go home... It's a lot. So please be patient with us with the days moving forward. It breaks my heart knowing I won't get to meet the majority of you now and introduce you to your babies, but I'm doing everything I can to ensure the care and happiness of you, your future kitten, and my own personal fur-babies.
