The A. Milligan Art Studio & Gallery at 520 N. Sequim Ave. welcomes you to the “Transitions” Exhibition. Nearly every moment holds a threshold — the hour gold light slides into blue, the bend where a river curves out of sight, the step one takes through a doorway. This exhibition brings together the works of two area artists who are drawn to those in-between places where paths disappear into fog, and clouds continually rewrite the sky.
Both artists are representational painters, with the intricate touch of Suzan Noyes hand joining the soft airy brushwork of Linda Tilley’s oils. Come delight in the interpretations of each artist’s expressions of these transitional moments.
Jewelry maker Dee Shire’s summer collection compliments the exhibit. Inspired by nature, anthropology and paleontology, her necklaces are uniquely special adornments. As always, when you visit the gallery, you’re invited to take a peek into owner Anne Milligan’s pastel studio to see what new works are in progress on her easels.
