A mostly all-black kitty, Misty has a tipped ear and is microchipped. Almost every day in the adoption center at PetSmart in Tyrone Square Mall there are new opportunities as Cat Kids Rescue has kitties of various ages, colors, and personalities available for adoption. This week we found many who have been with the rescue were happily adopted; some are new to the adoption centers, while others are still waiting patiently in the adoption center looking for their new family and homes. If you have been thinking about adding a cat/kitten to your family, please stop by today and become smitten with a kitten.

All have been spay/neuter, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped!

You can ask to meet one of these kitties when our adoption volunteers are available in the adoption center or call/text 727-748-6047 for an appointment.

Walking into the PetSmart Tyrone Square Mall Adoption Center is like opening a treasure chest. You just don’t know what gems you are going to discover available for adoption from Cat Kids Rescue.

All the kitties there welcome the opportunity to become awesome companions in loving caring homes. Past the pesty kitten stage, some have had more experience than others living in a devoted home. The common thread is they want to become easy going partners to their humans; sitting on the couch or lying on the armrest of the recliner while their person is reading a favorite book or surfing the TV channels. Adopting an adult cat brings calmness, undemanding affection, and gratitude for a second chance at love as they enter the best years of their life.

Meet Gretel
This sweet tuxedo girl (just under 1 year old) was on the euthanasia list at Pet Resource Center in Tampa. I saved her life and KNEW her soul asked me to!

Her story:
• Rescued from a 50-cat cruelty/hoarding case
• Never knew human love
• Scared, hisses, but not aggressive
• Loves Churu treats and other cats
• Her eyes begged me to save her—I couldn’t say no

She needs:
• A foster or forever home
• Adults only, no kids
• No dogs unless you’re super experienced
• Cat-friendly home is a plus!

I truly believe she’ll blossom with the right person. Her soul is beautiful.

Zoe is a supremely affectionate retired mommy cat who is available at the Tyrone PetSmart through Cat Kids Rescue ! It sure does take a village! This love bug is so social with any people and a well fed girl who loves to be snuggled. She still has so much playful kitten nature in her essence.
