💙 Sophie Needs Your Help Naming the New Boys! 💙

Our teenage Bayou Boston, Sophie, has been looking a little lonely lately. Her favorite playmates Dexter, Melanie, and Björn have all gone off to their wonderful new homes, and apparently the puppy pool just isn’t quite as exciting without a gang to splash around with. 🐾💦

So I gave Sophie some VERY important news…

“Don’t worry, Sophie. Aunt Candace has TWO little Boston Terrier boys who will be big enough to play with you before you know it!” 🥰

There’s just one tiny problem…

THEY DON’T HAVE NAMES YET! 😱

And this is where YOU come in!

We have a soft spot for boy names beginning with the letter B, so we want to hear your very best ideas. Handsome names, funny names, old-fashioned names, Southern names, unusual names… surprise us!

Sugar Muffin, formerly our sweet little Rosie, is clearly living her best life! 🐾💗

Here she is at home having a grand old time with her Boston Terrier sibling, surrounded by toys and fully committed to the very serious business of playtime. 😂 One minute it’s a toy tug, the next it’s a playful pounce, and somehow every toy in the room becomes part of the adventure.

Seeing Sugar Muffin so happy, comfortable, and loved in her new home makes my heart smile. She didn’t just gain a family. She gained a built-in best friend. 🥹🐶🐶

These are the updates I treasure most, watching one of our babies settle in and realize, “Yep… this is home.” ❤️

Some friendships are simply meant to be. 🐾💕 Tootsie the Frenchton and her big brother Dexter, a Bayou Boston, have become completely inseparable! Whether they’re racing around the house, wrestling over toys, or curled up together for a well-earned nap, these two are never far apart. In fact, finding Tootsie without Dexter nearby is nearly impossible...and vice versa! Julia and John absolutely adore their sweet pair, and it’s easy to see the feeling is mutual. Tootsie didn’t just find a wonderful home. She found a family, a best friend, and a big brother for life. ❤️🐶

🎙️ And Now… The Aftermath of a Great Aquatic Expedition

As the afternoon sun glitters across the pool, we find young Hollis in an altogether different state from the determined little swimmer we observed earlier.

The lesson is complete.

The life jacket has been retired for the moment, and beneath the welcome shade and shelter of a perfectly placed cabana, our beautiful soft-merle Frenchton has reached the inevitable conclusion of all serious puppy endeavors:

She is absolutely pooped. 😂🐾💦

Sprawled beside her towel, Hollis rests with the deep satisfaction of a pup who has learned something new, had tremendous fun doing it, and now has precisely zero appointments remaining on her schedule.

Her little paws are still.

Her eyes grow heavy.

And somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, the gentle rhythm of the pool seems to follow her into her dreams.

Perhaps she is already imagining tomorrow’s lesson. Another float across the blue water. Another brave paddle. Another afternoon with her beloved new mom, Charmaine, close by to encourage, protect, and cheer her on.

But perhaps Hollis is dreaming of something else, too.

Maybe, somewhere in that sleepy little puppy mind, she wonders about the nine Frenchton brothers and sisters who once shared her world.

Where are they today?

What adventures are they having?

Is one discovering a favorite couch? Is another learning the mysteries of the backyard? Has someone found the perfect sunny window for an afternoon nap? And somewhere, perhaps, is another little Frenchton dreaming about Hollis too?

Ten puppies began their story together.

Now all ten are writing brand-new chapters in homes of their own. ❤️

And while their paths have carried them in different directions, their stories are far from over.

So stay with us, because updates on all ten of these beautiful, clever little Frenchtons are most certainly still to come.

For now, however, Hollis sleeps beneath the cabana…

🎙️ A Moment in the Wild: Hollis Learns to Swim

In the shimmering waters of her new domain, we find young Hollis, a beautiful Frenchton with a wonderfully soft merle coat, embarking upon one of puppyhood’s great adventures.

Under the watchful eye of her new mom, Charmaine, Hollis is being introduced to the mysterious art of swimming. And although our tiny explorer may possess courage in abundance, Charmaine is leaving absolutely nothing to chance.

Observe the bright orange life jacket. 🦺 A rather fashionable piece of survival equipment, and proof that in this habitat, safety comes first.

Charmaine remains close, positive, encouraging, and protective as Hollis learns that paws can, in fact, become paddles.

There will be splashes. There will be lessons. There will undoubtedly be a few expressions from Hollis suggesting that she did not personally authorize this aquatic curriculum.

But this is exactly how confidence is built: safely, patiently, and with someone trustworthy nearby.

For Hollis and Charmaine, safety comes first, while education and fun come in a very strong second. 💦🐾❤️

And thus, our little merle adventurer begins another chapter in her wonderful new life... one careful doggy paddle at a time

Congratulations to Susan and Ashley G Vignes they will soon welcome home Barney formerly known as Dexter. Yay! Barney will go home to Ray Ray and Izzy, his Bayou Boston big sisters. We couldn't ask for a better home for this sweet Frenchton boy.

🐾 Dexter may not be an accountant… but he DOES come when he’s called! 😂

Call his name and this handsome little Frenchton boy comes trotting right to you, ready for attention, cuddles, or whatever adventure you have planned.

Now, we can’t promise he’ll help with your taxes. Dexter is pretty convinced that 1 + 1 = 3… so we strongly recommend keeping him away from your tax returns. 🤣

But when it comes to being loving, loyal, playful, and absolutely adorable, Dexter gets an A+! ❤️

🏡 And yes… Dexter is presently available! If your family has room for one sweet little boy who comes when called but should never be trusted with the family finances, Dexter may be your guy. 🐶💕

💦🐾 Look who has her very own puppy pool now! 💕

Melanie’s new family knew how much she loved the puppy pools she enjoyed here with us, so they made sure she had one at her new home too. And judging by these photos, Miss Melanie is absolutely thrilled with the arrangement! 😂💦

Seeing her splashing, playing and being loved by her new family makes us so happy. She is settling in beautifully and already looks completely at home.

And while Melanie has found her perfect family, her handsome brother Dexter is presently available and still waiting for his special people. 💙🐾 Dexter is an amazing little boy with a loving, playful personality and plenty of snuggles to give.

Melanie found her happy ending. Now it’s Dexter’s turn. ❤️

💕 Melanie is HOME! 💕

Congratulations to Molly and Mike, who have officially added one more very special “M” to their family… Molly, Mike & Melanie! 🥰🐾

From the looks of these sweet photos, Melanie has already settled right into her favorite place: close to her new people. And naturally, no homecoming would be complete without an important first adventure… Melanie went for her very first pup cup with her new family! 🍦🐶💗

Seeing our puppies leave is always bittersweet, but seeing Melanie loved, cuddled and already making memories makes our hearts so happy.

And now there is just one little Frenchton waiting for his family… Dexter. 💙

Dexter is an amazing little boy: handsome, loving, playful, inquisitive and an absolutely wonderful snuggler. Melanie found her people. Now it’s Dexter’s turn. 🐾❤️
