Who I am and What Ive Become!

My name is Vernon VanWaters, I am originally from Kansas. I graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School, same school that Dr. Phil attended. I had a unfortunate situation occur when I was seventeen. I was hit by a drunk driver, his vehicle hit my car causing me to be ejected from the vehicle. This accident caused memory loss and difficulties that I still struggle with today. Thankfully, by Gods undeserved Grace, I was able to put this all behind me and press forward. I always had a deep love and compassion for animals, specially dogs. I remember adopting from the local rescues. It made me so happy having the companionship of a furry friend. As I became older my love for dogs became so strong that I wanted to get into breeding and training specific breeds. It was not to hard for me to decide, that a retriever was the breed for me. After many many hours of “doing my homework” I adopted my first girl. Now, I provide families with fur babies that give unconditional love and to me that is priceless. My breeding and training programs are very specific, and are without a doubt unmatchable. I do not “cut corners” or try to “make things easier.” To me its all about my babies and how they develop, not just here with me, but with their new families. Its my desire each family has a wonderful experience and that they get the “right” baby. Placing each baby with the right family for the right situation is very important, not only for the baby but for the family as well. I continue to study in depth about the breed, health, training, care, and much more to make sure that I do the best I can to provide the BEST.
