With a very heavy heart, I want to share that PickleRat Rattery will be closing indefinitely following the passing of one of my most beloved bucks.

He was deeply loved and played an incredibly important role in my rattery and in my heart. Losing him has been devastating, and I need time to step back before continuing.

PickleRat has always been built on care, ethics, and love. Because of that, I know it’s right to pause until I can give my whole heart again.

Thank you to everyone who has supported PickleRat and loved these rats alongside me. This isn’t goodbye forever — just time to honor a life that meant everything. We will be back. 🤍

I am saddened to say that one of my most dear rats has crossed the rainbow bridge of old age. Bean was a huge part of the passion building behind rats for me along side his late cage mate Pickle. He was my little stomper and had the best little toes and sniffer a rat could have. His legacy will live on in my heart and passion for these little critters. I know he is playing with Pickle and consuming all the heavenly Cheerios he can. Miss you little bean. Till we meet again.🕊️🤍

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who’s shown interest in my rats lately! Your support and excitement truly mean a lot.
