Joyful Pet Sitting now has a beautiful 2 acre property for private exercise/play sessions.

Sessions are $30 door to door Monday through Friday.
$40 for 2 dogs in the same household.

I offer a 15% discount for monthly membership regardless of how many sessions you would like in one month.

I pick up your pup and they get to wear themselves out playing with compatible dogs.

1. Meet & Greet
2. Choose your sessions.
3. Door to door service.
4. They play with compatible dogs in a safe environment with lots of positive reinforcement and enrichment.
5. They return home content and tired. 🤗

Joyful Pet Sitting also offers overnights, and house calls for all animals including livestock and exotics.

I’ve taken care of Phoebe & Korbin for 2 months while their dad readied their new home in Hawaii. It was so much work and little sleep and I miss them terribly.

MYSTERY ILLNESS UPDATE:

Cayce Wallace has been communicating with UC Davis regarding this unknown respiratory infection.

Dogs can carry this infection for months before they nosedive with antibiotic resistant pneumonia and then it is most likely fatal.

There are no tests to confirm whether a dog is infected and they can be asymptomatic and contagious, just like with COVID.

King County is recommending isolation for all dogs.

Joyful Pet Sitting will be canceling all play dates between dogs from different households until we have more information.

I know Cayce Wallace of Laughing Dogs Academy has also canceled all of her group classes in an abundance of caution.

As of yet, the island doesn’t have any confirmed cases and hopefully we can keep it that way by taking precautions and isolating our dogs.

If you’re interested in a play date once we get a handle on whatever this disease is, please reach out and I will put your pup on a list for the future.

MYSTERY RESPIRATORY ILLNESS IN DOGS

Thank you to Cayce Wallace for bringing this to our attention.
I just spoke with Fair Isle and there aren’t any known cases on island.
If people still want to have a play date with a new dog,
I’m going to treat it like COVID and have a list of questions regarding symptoms and take any dog’s temp before introducing them to a new dog.

Have you ever been told that to take a great picture, you stand with your back to the camera and snap your head around as if you were just caught in the shower. (It works BTW)
I think of that sage advice every time I see this picture of Macy who I obviously startled while she was eating. Cracks me up.

My twice a week senior dog walk we call our Amble & Sniff, had a new participant today. Coco the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel joined us and she had a blast! Aren’t they adorable?!
