How Many Times Can a Heart Break?
"My heart breaks as I stand in front of an empty cage, thinking about the animal that used to be there. One of many who waited for a happy ending that never came.

My heart breaks as I pet a dog who has so many things against him: his breed, size, color, and age. Yet, he still wants to be my friend.

My heart breaks as I sit on the kennel floor and reach out to an animal that only knows to cringe, waiting for something bad to happen.

My heart breaks as I drive away, wishing I could take every single one home, but knowing that if I did, the cages would just fill up again.

So, before I come back, the pieces of my heart will shift a little and find a new place, held together by determination and stubbornness.

Our transport experience with Rulana and Juan was excellent! Loved meeting them and learning about their love and concern for our Westie. They drove to our home in Oklahoma , picking up Bolt and transported him to Des Moines, Wa!! Bolt got to travel cross country stopping at fabulous dog parks along the way !! Nothing like traveling and seeing the country! Bolt arrived Happy and clean and wonderful !
