Baby 3. She is over 21g and her older siblings are 32g! They will need a photoshoot soon. Will be available to ✈️ after the holidays, when temps are safe on both ends.

What's got Moraine so happy? Outside of her move to a PVC from Focus Cubed where she's living the high life with overhead heating, loose sub, a hand-built slate basking hide/platform, and plenty of cork...
I've finally found her a boyfriend! He will be crossing the Atlantic in Defember. I am excited to post more details about him soon. He's going to be STUNNING in my BN SSE Blizzard project.

All are TSF 100% Red Diamond x 50% Red Diamond het Tremper - and they all lost the lottery on that het 😂

It's been a while! We have been busy house-hunting, moving, building new 36x18s for the girls to move into, and writing my novel.
Here are update photos for Vertigo and Peach. They (and Moraine) are waiting to get into their upgraded enclosures once all decorations are sanitized.
Monarch has two plump eggs in the incubator by Riptide (Red Diamonds). The other girls I haven't caught ovulating or didn't breed due to the move.

Time to introduce Tundra! She is the first member of my BN Blizzard SSE project. Just a wee one at only 15.2g on arrival, she is a bug garbage disposal and will be a big girl soon enough. Very brave little one. I've also paid for the second member of the project and hope to secure her mate soon. Tundra was bred by Respecto thy Gecko.

Just picked up this adorable little Lilly White Crestie from ! This as-yet-unnamed little one is settling in - probably not too many follow up pics until they adjust to the move.
In Leo news, Kermit is moving on to a new home this week. The start of my second project will be moving in... stayed tuned for deets on her when she arrives!

With some advice from on keeping it safe, the rack dwellers have gotten upgraded to loose sub! This 70/30 topsoil/play sand mix eases up the stress on their joints and gives them a more natural substrate than pure paper towels. The layer at the back (heat tape) is very thin, tapering up to a thick section at the front.
Once we move into a bigger place, the rack dwellers will all move into Baby Beasts. For the next 6ish months, they'll have this QoL upgrade.

Lava Black Night update! The lavender in front of her shoulders has changed the most, the rest of her lavender is holding strong. She continues to be a vibrant orange. Vertigo has eaten in front of me the past two feedings - getting bolder! Never a bug left in the morning. Front photo edited to pull her true colors out, she really is this bright!

Sun's out, buns out. These two girls have started sleeping with their tails out lately 🤣 In sharp contrast to Buttercreamier, who does not understand she is generally supposed to be unconscious in a hide.

Don't think Peach took a bad photo in her update shoot yesterday. She is very friendly and always eager to greet me when her bin is opened. Her personality is quite similar to Riptide, her half brother. Their mutual half sister is a bit less outgoing.

Her head is an almost creamy mixture of lavender and orange, very different stamp to my others. Peep that tail! She pounds down the bugs, too.

Newest addition to the family is here! This girl is absolutely STUNNING! She is a Lava Black Night from Xtreme Exotics. No name yet but she is settling in well after her journey all the way from Canada! Very pleased to be adding her to my high lavender program.

Moving day for Buttercreamier. She's left her rack bin behind and now has a 36x18x18 all to herself. She has been happily basking on her slate and exploring all day. So much for being crepuscular! Crem has always been a lively one so I think the extra space and loose sub for burrowing will suit her well.
Sub can be a debated topic for leos, but a leo with a properly statted halogen or DHP should not have an impaction risk while on a 70/30 soil/sand mix. Place a nice chunk of slate under the lamp to absorb and retain heat into the night.

This is Wendell's granddaughter, who just received her upgrade to loose sub. She is busy exploring with the feel of soil under her belly!
Wendell himself unfortunately had snake cancer and passed over the summer. "Grandbaby" is his descendant who I purchased to fill the lavender hoggy-sized hole in my heart. She is a feisty little one!

Some updated shots of Buttercreamier who is an absolutely gorgeous pastel rainbow of colors. "Crem" is the most active of all my leos during the day. She also loves to pass out on her water bowl. She is about 10g smaller than the other Tremper girls so I am not likely to breed her this season in case she has any growing still to come. I am curious to see what she and Riptide can produce!

It's her, Valentina ❤️🔥 weighing in at 54.6g she is my largest female. She is also an absolute pain to get out of her enclosure! Such a diva. Everyone got their pre-season weighing last night. She will be paired with Riptide soon.

Meet Peach, the latest addition. She will arrive once shipping is safe in 2022 to join Riptide's harem. Love that vivid, solid orange! ♦️

And then there's Valentina, who has been angry I turned OFF her heat while everyone else was clinging to a frozen bottle. She still slept in her hot hide and tried to bask even when it was over 100 out. Praise God for my dad who drove up their old portable AC - everyone is safe now and back to their regular temps!
Didn't think you'd see an arid species like the leopard gecko lying on a frozen-through bottle, eh? This heat wave is brutal. All enclosures' heat has been off for days and their ambient temps are basking temps. Everyone gets a frozen bottle rotated throughout the day and topped off water bowls. Will be buying a portable AC stat.
Happy Father's Day to Wendell! This lavender hognose was a fertile breeder for before retiring here. He's even got grandkids! Now, perhaps he'll come out of retirement if I get my hands on a coral female... 😂 And of course, Happy Father's Day to my actual pops 💜
