Update:  Whiskey had several Xrays today. Results show Tracheal collapse and surgery is not an option. Doc said Whiskey would most likely not make it through the surgery. He’s 128 pounds & even know he’s always been on the bigger size, his weight is putting strain on him. Plus his heart is slightly bigger than normal. He’s on 4 medications and home resting.

Dec 7,2021 to date has been the hardest time for me to just feel okay. Dixie Rose 🌹 was one of our kids. She went over the rainbow bridge the day after my birthday. I thank her for being such a wonderful dog for our family for 15 years. She brought all of us joy since she was 6 weeks old. Going through this last week has broken mine and my whole families hearts , she was one of a kind. She was the one dog that has broke me. I’m sure that this litter we currently have now will be our last because of all the pain we all feel. Everyday I think of something she did that always made me laugh or smile. When one of the kids or myself was under the weather, she would sit by you(or sit on you since she thought she was a lap dog) and comfort you. Rest easy to my girl. You’ll always be in my heart.
