We are taking bids on fixing our kennels. We can't use several kennels until we get them fixed.

We received a terrible call last night that a dog had fallen in a sink hole about 30 ft down. After arriving on the scene, I knew we needed some assistance. I made a call for help and help came. A huge Thank you to Jeff Young, Austin Carver, Jake Tade, Chris Shockley, Chris Blankenship and Mike Cooksey for coming through for us. When we left the dog was walking around like nothing ever happened.(They was still contacting their vet). It was a great rescue event.

Here we are again.
The Allen County Animal Shelter is hiring.
We are hiring for a full time position.
The position will consist of helping clean around the shelter and will also be helping with animal control issues.
It will be atleast 40 hours a week with a possibility of overtime(handling night calls).
You have to be atleast 18 years of age, with a valid drivers license.
If you are interested come by the shelter and grab an application. If you have any questions call the shelter and speak with Johnathan.

Meet Ava. Her owner said she was a 2yr old Australian shepherd. She was owner surrendered. They said they didn't have the means to take care of her any longer.
If you would like to give Ava a good home, come out and visit with her. With the upcoming weather it will give you time to bond together. If you have any questions call the shelter 270-618-7387.

We are needing bids to fix our kennels. We have several that are broken and we currently can't use them.
