Sire Spotlight:

Meet Tank, our guest sire for 2022. Tank belongs to a friend, and filled in for us while we search for a new permanent blue sire to add to the family. He is both beautiful & smart. He was sooo good with our girls from the 1st day he showed up (human & 4-legged alike). Tank enjoys staying on his owners heels all day on the farm & lots of loves. Tank also possesses the "leopard" gene that is our trademark.

Happy 5th Biryhday to our boy Newt! You're a *stud* buddy! ☺

Fun fact, I wasn't ever a dog person until I met Sadie & Gus, my future husband's blue sidekicks. They captured my heart, and their intelligence & loyalty sold me on heelers. By our birthday a couple years later in 2016 (yes, Josh and I share a Birthday), I knew exactly what I wanted- a heeler of my own. I didn't want to go look at Newt because he was red, not blue, and already almost 8 weeks old. But, to pacify Josh, we headed off to Loretto, KY to look at him. The moment I opened my car door and he ran towards me, I fell in love. Next thing you know I'm letting him come inside, lay on my couch, and buying him tons of things. My heeler enthusiasm began (especially for red ones) and has been growing ever since. Thanks for making me a dog mama Newt-Newt. 💙

Once again, feeling so blessed as we ended 2020 with all puppies finding new homes- in county, out of county, and out of state! We love watching these balls of fur grow and learn, and most of all, love connecting with and meeting new people. Thank you to everyone who has bought a puppy from us in the last year, and most of all Thank You to our Lord and Savior who has given us the opportunity to turn this hobby into something more!

We are giving Ms. Daisy an indefinite rest after 3 consecutive litters, and taking the next 6 months to hone Cora's skill and drive into a well oiled stock working machine, as well as secure a suitable working stud male for her to breed to. Look for more Ridgetop puppies in the second half of 2021!
