We got the text late last night that Krystal was in labor. The radiographs showed probably 5 puppies and they were right! Momma proudly showed off her puppies to the veterinary staff in the morning. Check out our story to see that.🩷🐾

🆘‼️We still need help! Krystal and Rose will both be coming to us in 2 weeks when it is safe for them...but Krystal has no foster lines up for her here. We rushed to get her off the euthanasia list to save her life but now we need a place for her and her babies to crash for a few weeks before they go to their foster homes and onto forever. If you, or anyone you know, has a quiet room in their house and love in their hearts...that's all she needs.
We will provide you with everything you need to get everyone set up! ‼️🆘

Please reach out directly if you think you may be able to help give Krystal a space for a few weeks. We can give you more details and walk you through the process. It is an amazing experience to watch little babies grow up...who doesn't love puppies?! 🐾

At just 2 months old, Amelia is already turning heads with her soft brown-and-tan coat and delicate features. 🩷She’s the kind of pup who makes you swoon with one tilt of her head and a gentle wag of her tail.

Her mama is 45 pounds, and while dad’s a mystery, we think he may have been a bit larger—so Amelia might grow into a graceful, medium-to-large girl.

Sweet, gentle, and curious, Amelia is ready to find her forever someone. If you’re looking for a loyal little love with a heart full of snuggles, she just might be your perfect match. 💕

At 2 months old, Abner is all paws, and melt-your-heart eyes. 🐾His hobbies include: following you everywhere, snuggling like it’s his job, and looking like a teddy bear that came to life.

Mom’s about 45 lbs, dad’s...well, TBD. We’re guessing Abner will be a medium-sized heartthrob. He’s mastering puppy life one belly rub at a time and is ready to steal your slippers—and your heart.

Adopt Abner. Because who wouldn’t want a baby bear with a tail?

Mom was a 45-pound beauty, and dad... well, let's just say he was a mystery man 🤔. Get ready for a lifetime of snuggles and laughter with this mixed breed bundle of joy!

Introducing...Analisa, a puppy as wonderful as her name's meaning suggests... "grace". And while we can't guarantee that she's graceful right now, we can say that she is sure to brighten your life! 🌟 She is about 2 months old currently, completely unknown mix ...what we call an "all American dog." 🖤 Mom was about 45 pounds and we don't know much about dad, so size is a gamble.

For Heartworm Awareness month, we want to dedicate this Worm Wednesday to this beautiful girl, Helga. 🐾
Helga is a dog who we agreed to take on after a rescue partner reached out to us. This poor girl was victim of a cruelty case and was diagnosed with heartworm disease. 🪱She was extremely brave and tough through the painful treatments (injections given in the muscles along the spine). It's sad that she had to endure pain for something so incredibly easy to avoid, especially when it's in the form of a tasty, inexpensive, monthly chewable!
But we are happy to report that her treatment was successful, and she is ready for her forever now! Where she never has to question if a meal is coming her way, or have to go through painful heartworm treatment again.

🌹 Meet Rose — A Mama with a Heart Full of Hope 🌹

Rose’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was surrendered—pregnant and confused—alongside her tan-colored companion, Krystal, to a crowded, rural high-kill shelter. The shelter was loud, cold, and frightening… and in a heartbreaking video, we saw Rose shaking in fear, eyes wide with uncertainty, silently begging for safety.

That video broke us. But it also moved us to act. With the help of kind souls, Rose is now safe and joining our program. She will never again have to face the world alone. She will be shown the love, comfort, and respect every mama dog deserves. 💛

But her story doesn’t end there.

Krystal, her loyal companion, is still waiting. Still scared. Still hopeful that someone will come. No one has stepped up for her yet. Not a rescue. Not a foster. Not a hero... yet.💔 We’re asking for your help.
We need support to care for Rose and to possibly open the door for Krystal too. This isn’t just about one life—it’s about preserving the bonds, the families, the futures that deserve a second chance.

It's still Canine Fitness Month and Bianca loves to play with her ball! ⚽ Play is so important for a dog to get on a daily basis. It helps stimulate their bodies and when you wrap some tricks in there, their mind as well.

🧡💛There is very little joy better than fostering! 💜💙

Just ask Bianca and her fantastic foster mom, Katie. Bianca spent her puppyhood in a rural shelter and since coming into our program, she has been able to live a "normal" dog life. And she is loving every minute of it...her foster mom adores her. If you have ever considered opening up your home to try fostering or thought that you may want to add a second dog...reach out to us for more details. 🐾 Dogs like Bianca can't be helped without a foster home open. They can't get to a better life without you!
