I am now back from vacation, and back to work!

I get asked all the time: Does my cat really need a bath? The answer is yes! Take a look at some before and afters. You can see the trapped under coat getting tangled without regular bathing and brushing. This happens because as the undercoat grows it can get tangled without a thorough brushout. This does nott only happen in long haired cats, it can also happen to short haired cats, too!

Bathing also helps to remove excessive oils throughout cat's coats, leaving your cat bright and shiny.

Most cats do well on a 6 week bath schedule, though, some need extra tlc and get bathed monthly. I also have some clients that have cats on a 8 week schedule.

About Me:
Ally, LVTg, Owner of Cruising Cats

As a life long pet owner and animal lover, I decided to pursue my degree in Veterinary Medicine. While in college I had the pleasure of working in a small, feline exclusive veterinary clinic. This is where I developed my passion for cats. While there, I learned feline behavior and the benefits of handling cats one-on-one. Seeing the need for cat grooming, I became the clinics only cat groomer for many years.

Eventually, I obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree, majoring in Veterinary Technology from Mercy University, and soon thereafter became a Licensed Veterinary Technologist.

After graduating, I worked in several other small animal clinics, but couldn't ignore my passion to work with felines one-on-one. When I moved to Coastal Georgia from New York in 2022, I saw the same need for professional cat grooming.
I was finally able to live my dream by opening Cruising Cats in 2024.

As an active member of National Cat Groomers Institute, I am studying to become a Certified Feline Master Groomer.

When I am not grooming cats, or loving on my two cats from home, I volunteer at We Care Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking and scuba diving.
