Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to my clients!!
I am now officially booked every single cat grooming work day until May 1st!
I have learned so much over the years of owning my own business and especially being house call.

Now that my schedule is so packed, I am still scheduling new clients after May 1st, and adding clients cats that need grooming as soon as possible, to a waitlist. If any of my clients cancel before their scheduled appointment, I will do my best to get you in sooner.

I also traveled to Fort Myers to attempt to obtain my feline masters cat grooming certification.

Although I didn't qualify this time, I returned with new techniques and the skills to practice more so I can return with confidence.

I am very excited to see what else 2026 brings for Cruising Cats, and on behalf of a small business owner I just wanted to thank everyone for supporting me!

"Short hair cats dont need grooming"
I hear it all the time. Here's an example of what can happen to senior short haired cats. This was a combination of arthritis, and dental disease that lead to poor "self grooming", and matting.

Scarlett got a full lioncut, a bath (with water) and blow dry and did AMAZING.

Her owner searched far and wide for a cat groomer, and I'm happy she found me and we were able to help her kitty feel her best.

Cruising Cats has finished our last day of grooming for the year! While we get ready for our christmas festivities, we wanted to thank all of our supporting clients, and wish everyone a Happy Holiday!

Our elf on the shelf tried to move off his shelf during the day, but came faced with a fierce predator. Luckily he made it out safely (for now).

Cruising Cats will be closed from 12/23-1/15.

In continuation of my last post, I have now successfully passed all 4 written exams I need as the first step I need in order to obtain my master cat grooming certification. Yay!

In early 2026 I will be working with a certified feline master cat groomer to learn new skills and take my final practical (showing my skills to her) and if to satisfaction, I will officially become a master cat groomer!

I am beyond thankful to my clients and their kitties as I make this journey to better myself and the services I can provide.

Hello! It's Ally. On behalf of Cruising Cats I'm excited to share I have entered the last stage of obtaining my Feline Master Grooming Certification. Throughout this course I have learned so much and have in turn been able to provide a higher tier of service to my clients.
In order to obtain my certification I must pass 4 written exams, and show my cat grooming skills live to a NCGI certifier.

I have new products I have tried and love the results!

To raise my standards of cat grooming, starting Jan 1st 2026 all "grooming" appointments will come with a full bath (with water). I will be removing shaves with no bath, and combouts with no baths. Every kitty deserves to feel their best, and I am excited to be able to provide that for them.

I am now back from vacation, and back to work!

I get asked all the time: Does my cat really need a bath? The answer is yes! Take a look at some before and afters. You can see the trapped under coat getting tangled without regular bathing and brushing. This happens because as the undercoat grows it can get tangled without a thorough brushout. This does nott only happen in long haired cats, it can also happen to short haired cats, too!

Bathing also helps to remove excessive oils throughout cat's coats, leaving your cat bright and shiny.

Most cats do well on a 6 week bath schedule, though, some need extra tlc and get bathed monthly. I also have some clients that have cats on a 8 week schedule.

Schuylar is a beautiful Persian who is older and not able to groom herself anymore. We helped her look her best by doing a degreasing bath. Now on a regular schedule she will be looking and feeling her best, always. Take a look at these before, during and afters!
